  • Isnt there still radiation spread some km around the reactor???

  • @joaoa13portugal There is still radiation...

  • eat on of these and you could be on the toilet for just a little while

  • Wels Catfish me think, they are found in lots of place in Europe.

  • I think that they are so long because of the genetic mutation.

  • @applesweeter No. This breed of catfish naturally grow long with age. Healthy adults can live as long as 100 years. Amazing, eh ??

  • @ReneeNme

    Yes, they are!!

  • i saw a man under the water

  • @best496 its called evolution bitch

  • I know it's cool with big fishes around Chernobyl, but why is alwayes outside, i would like to see Chernobyl NPP from inside. Or send a robot or something :P

  • Recipe for Fissionable Fish Fillets

Catch 25 mutant catfish from the river. Bake at 3000 degrees F in Reactor 4 for 5 seconds. Serve hot within 50 years. A fissionable treat that's fun to eat!

  • Biggest european catfish was ca. 5-6 m, these in chernobyl are not so big (2 m?) but the trick is, as somebody below say, that nobody catches animals (not only fish) in chernobyl and they can live and grow in peace.

  • catfish are the second largest fresh water fish in the world m8

  • wicked (i can only dream)

  • Catfish can grow to large sizes but 10m is a litte 2 big don,t you think???

  • is it true story that theres been spotted 10m catfish in one of the lakes/rivers near Chernobyl?

10m. it's kinda too huge even for radiation ?

  • There are some massive catfish in the area but it's not because of any radiation effect, just because there's noone around to catch them!

  • @Number1BadBoyInnit Indeed.

  • That urban legend got started by that biker chick who claimed she rode freely through Chernobyl and documented a whole bunch of stuff. This was apparently a hoax or at least greatly exaggerated. A 10 meter catfish would put it on par with a whale shark. There's just no way. If they existed, one would have been caught and displayed by now. Lord knows every other kind of wildlife in Chernobyl has been poached over the years.
