@tobers516 no mate, you only get the usb lead. You need a phono lead to output to an audio source / soundcard. I use mine with a laptop and a stereo!

For everyone, the Numark Mixtrack doesn't have a built-in sound card. You need to buy an external sound card from Ebay or Amazon. They cost about 30 US dollars. With the external souncard and the built-in soundcard on your pc you'll be able to mix, record, and monitor tracks. Thumbs Up so people can see

@cluenxa Simple most likely he used his PC for the music output to the Logitech speakers while he used the external sound card he purchased aside from the mixer to monitor his tracks with the headphones.

@yuvalzis I spent all night trying to set it up and it's tricky. Go to numark website and see the 'Download' for Mixtrack Pro section - there you will have an instruction for setup with Traktor - also most importantly you will get a link for an updated version of the AISO4ALL driver. Driver supplied on the CD is outdated and that was the cause of the console not working.

1. Install updated driver

2. Install traktor

3. Connect Mixtr and wait for a while until 4 soundcard I/O appear

I just bought one yesterday, and started mixing off it immeditaly, I have a couple videos on my channel. @dontaveaclue you do not 'need' a sound card. A sound card is a little additional plugin that allows you to mix using your headphones. The Numark MixTrack does not have any place on the Mixer itself to plugin your headphones. If you do not have a place on your computer to plugin your headphones, then I suggest looking at the "Native Instruments D.J. IO"

@GLObalWARRIOR35 u can use headphones if u buy the mixtrack pro i has an internal jack for that. the one before the pro will not have this option you would have to get a sound card of some sort.. i have this one not the pro. but if u have a sound card its much cheaper to just get this one cuz only difference of the 2 its only the jack port thats it comes with for an extra $100 i got this one for just $99 on amazon 5 months ago prices change.. good luck.

Good sound quality - I use it to play music from my laptop through Mixtrack Pro then connected from the RCA output 1 at the back of Mixtrack Pro to my mixer where I can adjust the sound properly and from the mixer to my base computer where I record my samples.

P3. Manually Map the left side for 8 Hot-Cues/(shift) Samples and Map the right side for effects and Looping with Jog Wheel Looping (P1). Then either Map the 2 buttons above the Pitch Slider on both sides for Deck Select D1, D2, D3 & D4 or just Map one button for Deck Select like you use the Tab Button in the Keyboard Shortcuts.

Be awesome 4 deck Video Jockeys on VDJ7, works on all decks.

CDJ Jog loops, press shift with the Loop-Out button then turn the Jog Wheel.

@Splurgeyourheadoff well being able to get the full features out of the software for either traktor or virtual dj. it is a very good beginner midi control but be prepared for some learning curve miss fires with the looping and such if your not used to it. so it will take some practice
