  • yes it does have philips head screws but I don't

    have a long screw driver to reach the screws plus they are stripped from someone trying to get the back off before me.

  • I don't have the right tools for a boombox remover

    of the back.They are really hard to get off.

    Most of the time it needs new belts as well.

    I'll wait to see til I find a way to get the back off.

  • The boombox doesn't have philips head screws holding the back on? That's odd. I have a cassette recorder that has a clear body, and by looking at it after watching your video, you might have bad hinges that connect the play button to the tape mechanism. The boombox might have been dropped too many times, that might have caused the cassette player to stop working all together.

  • What you'll have to do is to take this boombox apart to see what's going on in there. Maybe it's something that you can fix easily.
