might be an option you accidentally checked off somewhere or its your printer, I doubt that though. always do a test before you print off all the sheets, and set your printer to "economy" mode which will use a lot less ink.

How do You create flattened model? I think Papekura Designer is used fot this. You can design it mannualy but it would be "time consuming" I think that it goes like this:

1. 3d model in 3ds or Maya as You said

2. Imoprt to Papecura D.

3. Creating flatten state of your 3d model

4. printing all this off

5. glue and fingers mad marriage

Yeah, but if I Want to create my own design, based on my 3d model it looks different- I suppose. . You can open feuw 3d file types in Papakura Designer and just unfold them to create flat templates for your paper design. That is when You use -Unfold.

@tomme1 I only use the program to print of the flattened model, I use Maya and 3Ds max to model.

yes, some edges are not connected, it happens after i click on "Unfold" button, and some walls of the model neighboring with disconnetcted edges are looking deformed, like trimmed or something

@tomme1 I haven't used the unfold tool so im not sure what it does. When you load the pepakura file it should display the completed model, Im assuming the unfold tool allows you to see how it was put together. If you just want to print it off and build it you don't have to unfold it.

you dont need the designer in order to build other creators papercraft, thats mainly for creating your own... just get the Pepakura Viewer, that shows a detailed map out of what goes where in color

ok also i cant download PrimoPDF, i mean it looks like it works but when i print to PrimoPDF it starts to print but when its done i would expect something to happen i cant even find PrimoPDF, neither as a desktop item, nor in the start menu...only the installer setup wizard but when i finnished the download it said "thank you for downloading primopdf"...or something like that:P so i dont get why i can't use it. god i hate beeing a noob^^

I don't what that program is, use pepakura its very simple, don't worry you'll get it.

If you're just downloading papercrafts and printing them, you don't need PePaKuRa Designer. PePaKuRa Designer is only for people who want to create their own papercrafts based on 3D models such as ones that are made on Google SketchUp. What you really need is PePaKuRa Viewer. It's free to download.

Lets say you put a file in pepakura for a papercraft thing. Does pepaura also give instructions on how to put it together?

there are numbers on the paper when you print it off in pepakura, you just attach the same numbers together either by glue or tape then fold on the dotted lines.

just click beside the picture of the armor peice or weapon you want to download, where it says 405th mirror, or the one below it, it will save as a .pdo file, it opens with pepakura

when the download thing comes up to download click open browse and browse again and search for pepakura in your desktop or the place you put it than pepakura is gonna ask something click yes and that is it

what is the file type that your downloading from the site? pepakura uses its own file extensions

yes, but a thicker paper is recomended such as cardstock.

on the menu bar, there should be an options or preferences box, click it and scale should be located under there. hope tha6t helps.

cut out the peices, then you just need to connect the same numbers togtehr and either tape or glue them, fold the dotted lines down (. . . .) and the line dot ones up (. - . - .)

try adjusting the margins under the settings tab. if you have them as small as possible then try scaling the model down slightly, the scale should be under settings as well. lemme know if that helps, if not ill make a video for adjusting everything.
