@Pent5HT i used to take 1,100 mg a day, yeah 1.1 grams, the doctors had me doped up for months. now im on 800 a day 100mg in the morning 100 in the afternoon and 600 before i go to sleep. most of the time i can stay awake after taking the 600mg. due to this tolerance it takes about 5 or 6 mg of xanax for me to really fell it, also if i dont take my seroquel i have a VERY high tolerance to alcohol, i once drank a whole fifth of skyy vodka to myself and never passed out or threw up.

My wife takes 200mg of this to sleep at night. She tried to talk about it on the Seroquel Facebook page but then there's people lecturing and saying how bad it is.

600 MG's of seroquel is not even recommended by most doctors. Or you turn into that girl up there. I am on 150 MGs and 1500 MGs of depakote. Sure I sleep about 8-10 hours a day, but I don't feel manic or paranoid at all.

@Pent5HT i used to take 1,100 mg a day, yeah 1.1 grams, the doctors had me doped up for months. now im on 800 a day 100mg in the morning 100 in the afternoon and 600 before i go to sleep. most of the time i can stay awake after taking the 600mg. due to this tolerance it takes about 5 or 6 mg of xanax for me to really fell it, also if i dont take my seroquel i have a VERY high tolerance to alcohol, i once drank a whole fifth of skyy vodka to myself and never passed out or threw up.

This is an anti-psychotic medication used to treat severe mental illness. If you have insomnia take ambien, lunesta. Seroquel might make you drowsy but in the long run it can have devastating effects such as severe weight gain and a condition similar to parkinson's disease.
This is NO DRUG TO PLAY WITH.

Some people even abuse Seroquel. They get high on crack or meth, and then use the Seroquel to come down. I can't believe doctors are prescribing this for simple insomnia. I have chronic insomnia and wouldn't take Seroquel if you paid me.

and even if she took a larger dose i honestly don't see the problem since its not addictive by definition being a dopaminergic antagonist.

This shit is potent, and gets you high, true. But it becomes a bad high; gives you an itchy feeling under your skin, like your bones are creaking, trying to get out of your body wile your body can't move. Makes you thirsty and hungry and makes you gain weight. Also makes you dizzy and hallucinate. You CAN'T wake up, no matter WHAT 8-10 hours after taking it. My mom used to kick me over and over and over again to wake up until I bruised-and I don't blame her. Caused her a lot of stress.

Ahh, well, it works differently for different people; but I've heard mostly bad things. I think if you take it regularly, then the side effects are much more prevalent. One of those side effects is hallucinations. But again, different people, different reactions.
