The first time I heard this on the radio years ago I got up walked to the living room and told my husband I wanted a divorce and I was leaving......ending a 13 year abusive marriage and it was for me .......never stay in a bad relationship for money for children for anything happiness and self-worth are more important than anything.

when drugs and alcohol mean more than loving and caring for me....Its time to try something new...now matter how bad it hurts....this will soon pass....but the pain of everyday life with a man that cares nothing for me is a hurt Ill never get over....
I lost my best friend I drank her away ...... She meant the world to me I could tell her any thing anything. I am sober now and time will tell.. This song hits home
