yeah i got a new car and new system now. 200 amp alternator and 1/0 gauge wiring throughout. running a rockford fosgate T2000bd, no caps yet but i will get a couple 1 farad caps. oh and i got 2 re mx 12's in a sealed box, my lights still dim even with all the upgrades, the big 3 with 1/0 wire, new spiral cell battery, and 1/0 wire for the amp power and ground. gonna have a new vid soon
?? 200 amp was the biggest i could find last year. dunno but iam changin vehicles soon and runnin 2 alts and 3 batts. got over that cap phase, there just for looks in my opinion.
By your description, i dont think you actually know what gain is. It is input sensitivity, not a volume control. By turning your gain up all the way, you cause the amp to try to make more power than it actually can at higher volumes. This causes signals to be shortened or "clipped." Clipping will overheat your voice coils and cause them to melt and then you will have a blown sub.

My 15 inch volfenhag subs will blow your ears right out. For people that don't like them what kind of box do they have? is it air tight with a divider like mine?
yea but are you running the newest improved volfenhag. the 2500watt 1250 rms subs are the shit man the db reader i got maxes out at 135 and it hit that like every note
haha volfenhag isnt the greatest. i had these subs for 3 years, yeah there alright but iam not stickin wit them. iam lookin for sql subs...from what i heard re makes good sql subs. the way i got these volfenhags set up there mainly putting out spl.
the l7 are for the ppl who think more money spent ur gettin better stuff. their jsut loud horrible SPL. stick wit the 2500 watt volfenhag and put 500 rms to each like me and ull be set. im so happy wit it and i got the subs brand new for 45$ fomr the warehosue

i jsut bought the 2500 watt volfenhag 1250 rms running ona 1000.1 class d amp. gettin a db reading in a week to se cuz its insane.
