I'm sure you have already been told, but you make a fishing rod by putting 3 sticks in a line from bottom left, to top right. Then you put string in the two spots open underneath the top right stick.

Make a fishing pole, and fish.

It needs three sticks on a left-to-right upwards diagonal line, with two string underneath the highest one.

Right click to cast the bobber, it might take forever but the bobber will 'bob' down when a fish is on the line, then quickly right click again and you'll have a fish.

You can also fish mobs, when you reel it in they get pulled towards you a little.

SGCBarbierian, you can fish by making a fishing rod. You craft it by 2 strings and 3 sticks. And if you didn't know. You could fish since halloween. And that pointy thingy you didn't know what was. Thats flint, and you can make arrows with it. You get them by smashing gravel. You have 10% chance to get a flint when you smash a gravel block.
