Is it because you want to have high rotation but slowly pushing downwards because the pvc would otherwise easily tear apart/shred ? Probably same reason why you use a cutter knife and not a miter saw ? Thanks !
Yes, the PVC is very thin on each side but there are ribs in between. The shop where I bought the cladding from only just had enough to complete my bathroom, so I had no spare pieces and so I had to be extremely careful.
@tommmmmer Just curious ... with what do you replace the cladding of cealings where you live ? Over here we have this hype that everyone wants a plaster ceiling ... I don't have an estethic preference ... It's the room that will determine what goes and what doesn't.
Not sure, but there is not much you can do with a ceiling. There seems to be lots of PVC cladding for sale on ebay for ceilings and walls. It's got to look better than the artex LOL

It's the Wera Bi Torsion Rapidaptor.
I think that particular screwdriver bit is magnetised slightly now, which helps hold the screw on the end ;-)
