A guy playing a nylon string won this year with some jazzy stuff. I didn't witness it but I heard it was incredible.
A different person won the fiddle, mandolin, and flatpicking contests this year. Also incredible.
I'll have to make it a point to go to all the competitions next year ^^

Its supposed to be played in standard. And you're playing a bit too fast in the beginning.
