My dad had one of these when I was in high school. It had a Detroit 318 (a.k.a. 8v71). I spent many hours on it. It was the most productive scraper we ever had. The elevator was driven by an electric motor, 440 volts, I think. Steering was via a toggle switch, no steering wheel.
