I literally read nonstop into the night--like Bastian does-- because I actually felt like I was becoming involved with the story and the characters, and in the end, I was greatly satisfied with the adventures I had read about. I myself am eighteen, and so, I felt like I was actually transported to a whole other world. I'm actually convinced that it's a magic book, it's so real and amazing!!

the movie compared to the book is horrid. it leaves out so many crucial details such as Bastian was a larger size kid and hid in the attic of his school. this boo could never be properly made into a movie is you have actually read the whole thing.
