Excellent video. I am glad the reprap is gaining ground with improvements it has come a long way. I was thinking why could this not be done on a larger scale, say take a mold with concrete and have an x/y axis to build a house. Great explanation, I am yet more tempted to get started,but still think I would spend the money for a used CNC machine before I would go with this.

Assuming you mean the spool, there's lots of spools and related filament feeding accessories on thingiverse. One I may try next is object 8317

Elemental content, but nicely done. Would be nice to see a series on the basics of machine start up: Feeding filament into the extruder, how to adjust tension on the extruder bearing, printing calibration objects and initial adjustments and tuning, etc.

The firmware is Sprinter, the SD card reader is the one Kliment makes, and my RAMPS is version 1.2.
