The agreement is essentially the same as the one sabotaged by Nixon and Kissinger in 1968. It provides for a cease-fire and the full withdrawal of US forces from Vietnam. By the end of March 1973 all the US combat troops have been withdrawn.

@rosemarie443 Once they are convinced the US withdrawal will be permanent, the communists again start to move south, easily sweeping aside the now demoralised and ineffective South Vietnamese troops. The communists take Saigon on 30 April 1975, bringing the war finally to an end.

Vietnam is officially reunified as the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on 2 July 1976. Saigon is renamed Ho Chi Minh City. The VWP changes its name to the Vietnam Communist Party.

Ho' Birth name is Nguyen Sinh Cung.

The French cut off 1/3 part of Cambodian soil and gave it to Viet Minh on June 4th, 1949 with over 12 millions Cambodians lived there. Now, there are over 8 millions Cambodians are living there. Iraq was (allegedly) invaded due to a perceived threat of WMDs, although it's now generally believed that it was actually attacked due to a) Bush's sentiment that a successful war would bolster his support, b) A desire to 'finish' what his father had started, c) For the highly lucrative reconstruction contracts and, obviously, the oil.
