why haven't any of your posters posted about a man that might have saved your life at the risk of his own Captain Ed Freeman. you don't speak much about him about he was a hero, and man that had been shot 4 times but would not stop flying his Huey until he had lifted 29 men to safety.
@rosemarie443 Hey, been away for a while, but noticed you comment again about my location, and how I thus should have no issue with the US. I let it slide first time, in the hope that you'd educate yourself, but alas, no. So do some research and you'll see that the US has interfered in my country, as in many, many others.
I really don't understand why you're so blindly defending some downright stupid decisions made by your government. All governments do stupid things, be aware of that.
@mickeybee well sir you live in Angola, which is a ways from the USA, so i can not see why you are interested in what the USA does, it is sending money to your country so set back and us it. or maybe you government does not give you any of that money.I have done a lot of research in the past 50 years and you have no room to complain but you will. so get with it
@rosemarie443 You clearly haven't done your research, because if you had, you'd be embarrassed over your ignorance. The US funded rebels in the civil war, thus exacerbating the whole conflict.
I just don't understand how you can think the US is always some great saviour, without any negatives. There is no nation in the world that doesn't think of its own personal interests. Most countries, if as powerful as the US, would behave in a similar way. Can't you acknowledge that??
@mickeybee I didnot say that the USA was a great saviour, what i said was this, "the USA only goes where it is asked to help" now i will add to that by saying we are asked to help by the government of these countries. but you see the USA always pays for their negative part, which no other country does. you ppl seem to think that the USA is the only country involved in saving other countries. like vietnam, everybody acts like the USA was the only military there, well tell that to the Assies

@wdsf5193 you have such a big vocabulary i am suprised you are not in politics. if you ant democracy in south vietnam this is not the way to get it. the USA tried to bring democracy to south vietnam when there was a war there about 50 years ago, but the people did not want a democracy, so we left and see what they have now.
@rosemarie443 By July 1964, the number of US military personnel in Vietnam has reached 16,000. In August US President Johnson approves air strikes against North Vietnamese naval bases in retaliation for an alleged attack on two US destroyers in the Gulf of Tonkin, off the north coast of Vietnam.
*** In October the Soviet Union promises to provide military support for North Vietnam. The aid will amount to several hundred million dollars and include surface-to-air missiles.
@rosemarie443 US President Johnson offers to stop the bombing and join North Vietnam in peace talks as soon he is assured that communist "infiltration into South Vietnam by land and by sea has stopped."
*** "If the United States Government really wants talks, it must first halt unconditionally the bombings and all other acts of war against the Democratic Republic of Vietnam," Ho replies.
@rosemarie443 An agreement on the terms for peace is reached between North Vietnam and the US in October 1972. However, when South Vietnam refuses to believe that the North is sincere, the peace negotiations falter.
President Nixon orders massive night-time bombing raids on Hanoi and Haiphong to demonstrate the resolve of the US and appease the doubters in the South.
@rosemarie443 During 11 days in December 1972 the 'Christmas Bombing' campaign sees 129 B52 bombers drop 40,000 tons of ordnance in what is said to be the largest raids of their type in history. The North Vietnamese return to the negotiating table and the bombing is stopped.
@rosemarie443 On 27 January 1973 all parties sign the 'Agreement on Ending the War and Restoring Peace in Vietnam', the so-called 'Paris Accords'. The agreement is essentially the same as the one sabotaged by Nixon and Kissinger in 1968. It provides for a cease-fire and the full withdrawal of US forces from Vietnam. By the end of March 1973 all the US combat troops have been withdrawn.
@rosemarie443 Once they are convinced the US withdrawal will be permanent, the communists again start to move south, easily sweeping aside the now demoralised and ineffective South Vietnamese troops. The communists take Saigon on 30 April 1975, bringing the war finally to an end.
Vietnam is officially reunified as the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on 2 July 1976. Saigon is renamed Ho Chi Minh City. The VWP changes its name to the Vietnam Communist Party.
@rosemarie443 VC renamed Saigon to Ho Chi Minh. Saigon was used to be Prey Nokor, a Cambodian city. The French cut off 1/3 part of Cambodian soil and gave it to Viet Minh on June 4th, 1949 with over 12 millions Cambodians lived there. Now, there are over 8 millions Cambodians are living there. @rosemarie443 The war in Iraq was not revenge for 9/11, (I'm presuming that's what you meant by 'the USA had been invaded'!?)
Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.
Iraq was (allegedly) invaded due to a perceived threat of WMDs, although it's now generally believed that it was actually attacked due to a) Bush's sentiment that a successful war would bolster his support, b) A desire to 'finish' what his father had started, c) For the highly lucrative reconstruction contracts and, obviously, the oil.
@rosemarie443 Ok this was fun for a bit, but now I'm getting concerned.
'The terriorest that lived there [Iraq] said that they had attack the USA'. 9/11, once again, was nothing to do with Iraq. It was perpetrated by Al Qaeda, who were only loosely affiliated with the Taliban, in *Afghanistan*(!).
And Iraq had no WMD, this was proven by UN weapons inspectors.
Once again, Iraq and Afghanistan are two *different* countries! And why did you mention Iran? Do you think you're at war with them too??
@mickeybee why are you getting concerned, because you are loosing the argument? there were WMD and you know it. i know where and who Afghanistan and Iraq are BUT the terriosts what ever name they want to go by are all over that part of the world, open your eyes and look, well if thing keep going we just might go to war with Iran, i hope we do not
p.s. You don't need to be an American to know what's going on in the world, (you prove this!).
And no country, be it the US or any other, goes to war solely out of the kindness of it's heart. It's called 'National Interests' - i.e. what benefit(s) is there in invading this country, -Financial?, Security?, Political?, Ideological?, and usually a combination of these.
This is of course a simplification, but hey, needs must!
@mickeybee did i say that the USA went to war out of kindness, No what i said is that the USA was asked to help them fight for their cause. NO it is the neighbor policy. you are supposed to help out your neighbor. all helping out these country has ever gotten the USA is expense. we always wind up having to give these countries money.

@rosemarie443 Huh? I never lived in Vietnam? I agree about the southerners, but it's a hard subject, the northerners invaded and lived and recruited the southerners to their side, could a southerner invade the north and do the same thing.. no way, the north had nationalism and buddha on there side, the south had money corruption and USA on there's, still the north was wrong for invading, they basically started the war.
This all looks rather familiar.Funny how history repeats.I notice how the US now censors the smallest footage of dead woman and children in the current war.
@KatiushaVN4 They just keep on doing it.All we do is stand and watch. The least we could do is not cooperate with the US in this reoccurring nightmare.

No offense but I'm pretty sure there are lots of Vietnamese women engaged in prostitution in Saigon still... It doesn't have anything to do with imperialists in the US. If anything there are more Vietnamese women in prostitution now because of the poverty in Vietnam and human trafficking.
the prostitution is not just for the "U S imperialist Dogs" anymore.....did they ?....the dire poverty, the human trafficking.....hey, dongchivn if you have nothing to say just STFU okey.....hey, how much is a "virgin" cost nowadays ? .....i hate to talk to gullible people like you...... i have an idea, THE WORLD SHOULD START EXECUTING RETARDED PEOPLE AND IT SHOULD START WITH YOU
@sanjose42000 Jeezse..Your starting to sound a little Communist..Its funny how the Right in America accuse everyone else of being Communists, but their words and actions reflect Communist thought and actions.
i am not American....i am a Vietnamese-American, just want to clarify that....i was born and raised in VN and came to this country as a boat-people, and i think i knew communist better than you because I've lived it....don't get me wrong, i am just saying that the communist did not do any good for the people on this world that is why they were crumbled in the 80's.....
all i am saying is prostitution is everywhere in this world....i hate the people who is like @dongchiVN who did not know what he was saying...look at VN right now, prostitution is everywhere (even down right to the underage people and yet he did not see it)...so don't blame it on the American "because of this and that", admittedly the American came in VN and it helped perpetuated it.
You think this is a civil war or maybe you do not know anything about this war. This is a war between the people of Vietnam with the U.S. imperialist aggression and people of Vietnam have won.
The very best footage of the Vietnam war i've ever seen. Anti-American, anti-war, yes. Remember it was Marxist elite jews, who were behind this entire cruelty, organised from both Paris and Washington, aimed at the destruction of catholic population and economy in Vietnam.
The lyrics to the song goes: "1000 years of Chinese domination, 100 years of Western domination 20 years of civil war every day". But not so, the fact that 20 years against the U.S. each day
Clip of the song says: "1000 years of Chinese domination, 100 years of Western domination 20 years of civil war every day". But not so, the fact that 20 years against the U.S. each day
what ....20 years against the U S each day ? ARE YOU OK ? if you translated it please do it right, don't do it the way the communist party want you to do it.
now we know the guy who wrote the song is a Vietnamese communist.
and you are too.........why do you spend time spreading "PROPAGANDA"
@sanjose42000 You think this is a civil war or maybe you do not know anything about this war. This is a war between the people of Vietnam with the U.S. imperialist aggression and people of Vietnam have won.
@sanjose42000 You think this is a civil war or maybe you do not know anything about this war. This is a war between the people of Vietnam with the U.S. imperialist aggression and people of Vietnam have won.
the song is : 1000 years against chinese slavery , 100 years against french colonial , and 20 years civil war .
However for the majority , and probably all of the communist vietnamese , that 20 years was not civil war . The country had spent 1100 years fighting against foriegners and the other 20 years were considerred the same
The lyrics to the song goes: "A thousand years under Chinese domination, a hundred years under Foreign domination, twenty years of...(sorry, not quite sure, my Vietnamese is shot), your legacy dear motherland is left for me..." The lady who performed this song is Khanh Ly, who was the Joan Baez of Vietnam who is still alive in her early seventies...
More of those Kent State idiots should have been shot on sites; then, the current state of America would be less corrupted dued to the post-hippie career politicians!!!
I really dont see why capitalists hate communists and vice versa. I think they can exist together. Here at home we have a few communist party. and most of the others are either socialist or nationalist. most of them exist more or less in harmony. Communist ideology is useful in some cases and in some socialist and in others nationalist. so depends on the region and what people believe in that particular region or state finally decide on the outcome.
The strategy of Third International is Russia helps communist parties in 3rd World countries to take power under the cover of fighting for national independence. Once a party gets the government, it will join Russia to help other parties to take power. When all 3rd W countries become communists, capitalist countries will be isolated and defeated by Russia
The red wave of communists started from Moscow, poured into China, North Vietnam, expaned to South Vietnam and to Cambodia . The red wave brought destruction to where it went including South Vietnam, Cambodia. It stopped only when USSR collapsed, cut off aids to all communist parties under Russian influence
Porn for rabid anti-american zealots; you can almost see them, and the lib-left trend sucking dilletantes at the BBC, collectively pullin' their Ho-Chi-Minh-size puds in unison to a rousing rendition of Kumbi-fuckin-ya....
The only good part was the much deserved shit kickin' visited by the British police on the local anarchist mob at the anti-war knob-fest in London.

No offense but I'm pretty sure there are lots of Vietnamese women engaged in prostitution in Saigon still... It doesn't have anything to do with imperialists in the US. If anything there are more Vietnamese women in prostitution now because of the poverty in Vietnam and human trafficking.

@DongChiVN
the prostitution is not just for the "U S imperialist Dogs" anymore.....did they ?....the dire poverty, the human trafficking.....hey, dongchivn if you have nothing to say just STFU okey.....hey, how much is a "virgin" cost nowadays ? .....i hate to talk to gullible people like you...... i have an idea, THE WORLD SHOULD START EXECUTING RETARDED PEOPLE AND IT SHOULD START WITH YOU

@sanjose42000 Jeezse..Your starting to sound a little Communist..Its funny how the Right in America accuse everyone else of being Communists, but their words and actions reflect Communist thought and actions.

i am not American....i am a Vietnamese-American, just want to clarify that....i was born and raised in VN and came to this country as a boat-people, and i think i knew communist better than you because I've lived it....don't get me wrong, i am just saying that the communist did not do any good for the people on this world that is why they were crumbled in the 80's.....
sanjose42000 8 months ago
@religionisharmful
all i am saying is prostitution is everywhere in this world....i hate the people who is like @dongchiVN who did not know what he was saying...look at VN right now, prostitution is everywhere (even down right to the underage people and yet he did not see it)...so don't blame it on the American "because of this and that", admittedly the American came in VN and it helped perpetuated it.

@religionisharmful
it may sound that way to you.....sorry to hear that.

You think this is a civil war or maybe you do not know anything about this war. This is a war between the people of Vietnam with the U.S. imperialist aggression and people of Vietnam have won.
DongChiVN 1 year ago
The very best footage of the Vietnam war i've ever seen. Anti-American, anti-war, yes. Remember it was Marxist elite jews, who were behind this entire cruelty, organised from both Paris and Washington, aimed at the destruction of catholic population and economy in Vietnam.

the song is : 1000 years against chinese slavery , 100 years against french colonial , and 20 years civil war .

@chemichaelgreen: It is rather disgusting, isn't it? Somehow, the Americans are blamed for the cosmetic habits of Saigon civilians to boot.
