  • i don't get it.

  • Interesting !

  • bags of wisdom

  • my tempo and rhythm always having problem, not only when rubato=.=

  • Most interesting!

  • He is the most reasonable pianist on tempo. So controlled, so reserved. I have an idea in my head about some Beethoven that I've done. He & my other instructors would keel over if they heard it. But, it is fun for me. To be on stage with it would be a significantly different presentation.

  • What is rubato?

  • @bootsmanor: You judge him as if this is unusual for a man. Have you ever seen the studies on this?

  • @bootsmanor his wife died and THEN he married Bashkirova (his second wife). He did cheat on his first wife but they stayed married until the very end, he didn't "dump her".

  • I dont play the piano, but I loved the part where he says that he doesnt like the audience to start clapping before the piece ends, because there is a relation to the silence.... how the composer breaks the silence with music and then how the music ends and the silence begins.... I loved that....
