The original version is actually by the Thompson Community Choir, not Ricky Dillard. I've heard this choir live several times and they were awesome. You should listen to some of there other clips. Although I did hear some different things in this clip, over all I don't think you find to many CHURCH CHOIRS with this type of sound. Again this is not a group, community choir ect. , Its there CHURCH CHOIR. Therefore, I think there great!

You are quite welcome dear; however, flat is flat and completely off is just that. Listen to an actual version so the you all may ascertain the correct way to sing this song. And regardless of your personal opinion, it is wrong. It may sound right to you because you've heard it wrong so many times that you made it right.

I agree you can be creative but you can definitely hear that something was wrong...it's different if you all were just trying to makeup your own version but if you were trying to sing the original song the beginning was way off...It's ok to be wrong sometimes we just have to make it right the next time around...the world is not going to end just because there were some mistakes...everybody doesn't have an ear for music and some things they can't hear but others can
