  • Keep pressing 9 for sheer awesomeness.

  • elephant man=penguin=lil wayne.

    wut.

  • @sexhaie The shit has Lil Wayne got to do with the epic penguin?

  • With a name like Oswald Cobblepot i would stick to the name Penguin

  • It's like the Elephant man but reversed. lol.

  • CRANK THE A/C!!!!!

  • FYI Pengy, penguins aren't cold blooded theyre cute and fuzzy

  • how fitting. penguin is considered the "elephant man" of the batman franchise, with his flipper hands, beak nose, green bile.

  • i love it..he was amazing

  • is this what lil wayne sampled?

  • Marilyn Manson in 20 years

  • @dykbojen123 , Ha!Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I adore "The Elephant Man" by the way

  • Kinda ironic, i was watching ''The elephant man'' trailer, where Joshep Merrik said : I am not a animal, I am a human being!

  • That was great! :)

  • has anyone noticed that in the first four movies (meaning the 2 burton movies and the two shoemacher movies) they had a kind of pattern going on?

Burton's first movie's villain theme was based on a laughing prank type villain

Burton's second movie was mainly based on a cold villain

then shoemacher's first had a laughing prank-type villain as the lead

and his second had a cold-type villain as the lead. curse shoemacher, can't even go without copying the first movies with a family friendly twist!

  • this guy is totally vaccilate

  • How strange earlier he said: "A penguin is a bird that cannot fly! I am a man! I have a name! Oswald Cobblepot!" Now he claims to be a penguin..Huh. He just can't seem to make up his mind which one is it man or penguin?

  • well, i like how the two lines contrast each other, the first one might be either an act for the press or him honestly wishing to try to be a human being, contrasted to this scene where its clear he feels hated and thrown out of society, betrayed and has become convinced that he will never fit in, hence fully embracing the conviction of being a monster.

  • Didn't he say "i'm a man! I have a name!"

  • CRANK THE AC!

  • I always thought this was ironic, because penguins are warm-blooded.

  • @averagehomosapien Yeah but he is obviously angry and COLLLD insiiiide

  • Ha ha

    Awesome parody of John Merrick.

  • lol, split-personality,

i know! its twoface in disguise!

  • Scenes like this make you laugh and wonder if the Penguin has brain problems.

  • well he is pyscotic if thats what you mean?

  • MAKE UP YOUR MIND DAMMIT!!!

  • Obsiously some of you people havn t see the movie of course after 20mins more or less of movie he says "i am a man I have a name" but that was an attempt to approach humans after all these years of living in a sewer and this scene right there when he s pissed off it s because Batman ruined the speech of Penguin s when he was close of being mayor of Gotham City that real pissed off the Penguin so he decided not to be an human anymore and kill them all.

  • Burton's films are dark and weird, Schumacer's films have a cheeseball flare which made the series degenerate, and Nolan's films are a realistic potrayal of society.

  • Obviously a play on the train scene in The Elephant Man.

  • oooooooooooo dat were lil wanye get dat frm! lolz

  • What lyric are you referring to?

  • lil wayne! umm i think da song iz im not a human being. u shud prolly find it on youtube,

  • Föörst säägar han att han aer en mäniska och nuu äre han en pingviin vafan i helvede?

  • Love it, Love it, Love it.

He spends the whole movie trying to fit in with the society that rejected him. Only to realise that he'll never be accepted.

  • @Beelzeboogie Oh well. He still has tuna :)

  • danny devito did an amazing work playing the penguin.

  • the problem with jack black being the penguin is me personaly i couldnt take him seriouse enough he is a comidian

  • Yeah, like in King kong, he tried to play a serious role and it just didn't fit...

  • CRRANK UP THE AC!!!

  • worst comment ever

  • Cold blooded is right.

  • amazing casting they couldn't pick anyone better to play the part

  • @muffemod They could have chose me...

  • I like the fact he twists the line from

    "Elephant man" around.

  • which is he a manor an animal lol

  • lol He likes to change his mind alot. ^^;

  • lol. Sad how i thought of that too xD

  • Penguin had to slap a bitch.

  • Punguins are not cold blooded.

  • No, but he sure is, figuratively of course.

  • I wonder what twist they could give to the Penguin in the new Batman movies without making him ridiculous and goofy but maintaining a sence of realism.

  • By keeping him the way he is: A mob boss.

  • A realistic mob boss. Make him a corrupt business man as well or even better...a corrupt politician. Penguin always was much more interested in making money and staying in business.

  • Penguin right now is semi-legitimate in the comics. He runs a night club in Gotham and sells overpriced drinks and makes a killing.

  • yeah, but that's kinda boring. think of Batman's other major villains:

    The Joker-a crazy murderous clown

    Catwoman-a sleek Dominatrix type burglar

    Two Face-schizophrenia

The Scarecrow-a collage professor with an obsession with fear

All these villains(and more) are far from what we would call 'normal'. What the 'semi-legitimate' Penguin is doing is basically just what any other mob boss today would do. Nothing extraordinary. Nothing interesting.

  • Penguin would probably be more of a secondary plot device in Nolan's world.

  • Hes not that difficult to do in Nolan's films.

Hell, make a twist with him about how he actually wants to do something good for Gotham but is rejected because of his deformities

  • @TheRedBaron6565 He didnt want to take over and kill everyone like the Joker?

  • The Penguin is a short fat man with a large nose and a umbrella gun. What they hell about that isn't ridiculous and goofy already?

  • Have you even thought about what he would look like in Nolan's world?

  • Nice twist n The Elephant Man train scene...........

  • I always liked how he clocks the guy after he says "Great speech, Oswald."

    AH!

  • IT'S DICK CHENEY!

  • brilliant acting!

  • your right, brilliant acting, i might also add Michael Keaton is the best batman

  • yeah but i still kind of have a bit of a crush on him no matter what though^^

  • His Temper Tantrums in the movie are the funny parts

  • @mgrchip HAHAAHA yeah man the part where he takes control of the batmobile and when he recieves the note from batman telling him that the children regret they are unable to attend etc

  • he scares me so much....

  • LMAO thats guy always did creep me out when i was little

  • very funny! he first says that his name is Oswald and he is human! then he says that he is a bird! Classic!!! I luv the penguin!!!!

  • The reason for this is because Batman exposed his true colours & evil-doings at his public speech at the presence of everyone...

  • Love this scene, thats Doug Jones (Pan, Pale man, Silver Surfer) as the clown who gets punched by Pengunin.
