There is something that I have noticed that I didn't notice before, concerning the wallet in the game. I've been trying to figure it out.

In Okami, the total yen on the score screen does not add to the yen you obtained from the regularly defeated monsters. The yen from the bonus is added to the yen recieved from the monsters, which results in the total shown.

This means that you only get the bonus yen added to your wallet when the screen disappears

Much better way to defeat these monsters: when they throw their skulls, press Z to use your secondary fire while you have a mirror equipped as your sub weapon. The timing on their attack is really freaking easy and using a counterattack usually gives you a demon fang. You can still get the other demon fang from... erm... flower finish I think it's called? You know, the special attack after they're already dead.

lol I remember playing this part, I was running around all happily in taka pass then I suddenly fell into that hole and I met the cutters! I was creeped out back then, they weren't demons and they run fast... I high-tailed it out of there, then I realized they were part of the main quest, and I got one of them into the moon light, they suddenly turned to demons, and I was all "thank heavens they're demons!" and killed them without getting hurt!
