the lyrics were a little late but its awesome other than that i love this song our school musical is beauty and the baest this year and i got the part of belle so ive been listening and singing this song like non stop its amazing how strong she is when all of that had happened she isnt sad in this song shes upset and a little angry id be devastated if it happened to me to lose my father my home and my freedom all in one day its horrible but she carried on and the beast learned to love so amazing

That's one version, yes. When I performed this, we did use those lyrics. But in the Broadway version, which I've come to believe this is a replica of, they use the lyrics, "But I know that I can't solve my problems going back."

Actually,the lyrics aren't wrong .If you put Home-Beauty and The Beast in Google and click on the first link you'll see that the lyrics are right.

@kaee257 Honestly, you're right, there are a lot of links out there that have these lyrics. Alas, they are incorrect. But only a couple. It IS, in fact, "Home's a lie" not "Home's alike." Also, "All my problems going by" is actually, "Solve my problems going back." But those are really the only big mistakes. "Held in this empty place" should be "Held in this empty space." Regardless, if you accidentally sang any of the incorrect lyrics it wouldn't be super noticeable. :)

@rukeunlimited actually, home's alike makes more sense. I thought in all the versions Ive heard that it was lie but it doesn't make sense. Maybe they all just don't put enough air into the K for it to be audible enough to hear

I'm not saying there can't be different versions of one song (espesially a song from broadway), but I'm relatively sure that at least the version I listen to (Susan Egan from Beauty and the Beast (The Broadway Musical) available on iTunes) it says "but I know that I can't solve my problems going back."
