Just got RE1 for pc. Besides Plants vs Zombies, its my favourite game. RE4 and 5 i think in my opinion, wrecked the RE series. SHAME ON YOU CAPCOM! XD lolz jk, i know a lot of other ppl like RE4 And RE5 but....i miss the old days.

i just wished they would put the remakes on ps3 720p(i really think 1080p can be done) Capcom could put zero/1 on on one blue ray and the rest 2/3/code veronica on on a second or just make them download able from PSN/XBOX LIVE for $20 each / packaged deal for $80 they would make a lot more money rather than keeping them on retarded game cube/ wii ... which is why i bought a $30 used game cube to play them (BUT I REALLY WANT TO PLAY THEM ON PS3/360)

This version had an exclusive enemy that the other version had not: The Venom Hunters. Due to Code Veronica was created by the same time that ported RE 1 to Saturn, Venom Hunters can be found there,

Actually it looks worse.... the characters are not rendered properly. Saturn had better 2d sprites but 3d capabilities were pretty limited.

@Labret507 RE2 sold well, but that doesn't mean it's better. For example, RE5 was a blockbuster, but most of the people think RE4 is better. For me RE1 is far superior to RE2. RE2 was too easy and less scary than RE1.

Yes the Original is better than part 4 when it comes to how scary it was, but when it comes to gameplay... i wouldnt really go that far. Those static camera angles were always a hinderance and im glad they finally got rid of that problem when they released RE4

Yes.. Original is always better. When I play Resident Evil 4, it doesn't even feel like i'm playing Resident Evil.. I miss the good old scary days of the true Resident Evil.. Now a days the Resident Evil games are not even scary anymore. Even when you turn off the lights. Resident Evil 5 will be no different from part 4. At least I've played the originals and feel honored to play them when it was released. Good old 90's.
