I was very pissed off with the ending, but after I watched the Special Features on how the final episode was made, I finally understood. The director of that last episode explained that if they had let Michael live, he wouldn't have been able to live happily ever after knowing that he ruined the lives of so many ppl. Becuz let's face it, although he did save Lincoln and brought down the Company, he did get a lot of ppl killed in the process. So I hate to say it, but he had to die. Da only way.

I was watching a trailer and some fucking dickhead wrote about the end of the last episode and the final break, I saw a glimpse, enough to fuck everything up.

Bad times.

But I guess I still enjoyed the ending even though I knew what was coming.

'The Final Break' was an add on that aired after the final episode of Prison Break and it shows what happens between the time they got immunity and when you see the '4 years later' part in the final episode.. Prison break the final break shows how michael died, it was when he was freeing sara who was locked up for killing his mother. During her escape he has to hold 2 wire from a generator together to open an escape hatch, he knew by doing this he would die but he didn't care because he was freeing sara and was dying of a brain tumor anyway
