First of all, Paul seemed a bit taken aback by that scattering of cheers (as judging from his expression), and, as I listened to the audio, it struck me that there were only a few louts actually doing this not the entire crowd, as has been misrepresented in the media. Second, Paul reiterated his stance that this wasn't a primary task of the state, and that, during his practice, they would still take on the uninsured in life or death circumstances.
Third, I felt Paul's reply was consistent with his Libertarian principles and compassionate within those constraints. His response wasn't, "Screw the improvident bastard!" It was more, yes, you shouldn't expect the government to take care of this, but we shouldn't say the patient should be barred from all care, anyway. You seem to have a problem with listening comprehension.

The war in Iraq was voted on in the House and Senate. 111 Democrats total voted in favor of the war.

It didn't include the right for women to vote either. This is at least the third time they've slammed Ron Paul. Go back to 2008 and watch some of the election commentary videos there. Both of the comedians behind these characters are likely committed leftists, and this is a parody. You can't expect them to say much nice about Paul. I find their characters hilarious and true to some more extreme types from their home town of Murfreesboro, & that's why I watch them. I agree with them sometimes (not on Paul) & not at other moments.
