  • Bum Bum Bum Bum

  • were is the first movie

  • This is MUCH better than rob zombie.

  • Dr Loomis micraculously fired 7 shots from a 6 shooter!!!

  • @TheDemon6690 i dont know why but since the origional they added that final shot

  • @TheDemon6690 LOL! I noticed that also. They got it right for the first movie.

  • @TheDemon6690 Heh, yeah. That's one of many discrepancies between the end of the original movie and the start of this one. Halloween ends with Loomis firing 6 shots into Michael, who falls from the balcony of the master bedroom and lands on the back yard. Loomis looks down from the widow, totally unsurprised to find Michael gone. Halloween II has Loomis firing 7 shots(from a revolver), Michael falls to the front yard, and Loomis runs downstairs, totally shocked to find Michael gone.

  • @ 00:50 the porch lights are on. @ 01:29, they're off and @ 02:31 they're back on again. I know the first shot was new and when the lights were off it was old footage from the first Halloween, you'd think they'd made sure the lights were off to begin with.

  • John Carpenter freaked the world out with Halloween back in the late '70's with Halloween 1 & 2 and subsequent versions. By today's standards its still pretty creepy - try watching 1 or 2 by yourself late at night alone in the house, with all the lights off - you'll be spooked. If you're not then you ain't human you such a realist your life must be pathetically boring! The world was'ent ready for that when they came out, some people still get the creeps when they just hear the music!

  • @RZUTAREFSON666 You're so funny! Wait... You are kidding, right?

  • @RZUTAREFSON666 SHIT YOUR CRAZY LOL

  • The fact of the matter is if you shoot someone in the heart six times and he's still walking you made need to just give up

  • Psycho is better than Halloween but I like that Halloween has sequels.

  • I SHOT HIM SIX TIMES ! I SHOT HIM SIX TIMES ! Oh wait the round shot off seven LOL

  • i've been trick or treated like shit tonight

you don't know what shit is

  • 2:35 i counted 7 shots

  • WTF happened to Loomis' "I knew this would happen" ending? He acts like he's scared, high, or both.

  • ahhh 240p we meet again ....

  • @deadicp It's a very old video so yeah of course it's going to be in 240p. =P

  • @hall47 240p for an old classic =)

  • @deadicp fail

  • I actually like this music theme better than the first, both are classics though!

  • beginning of part 2 awaesome you dont know what death isand the frickin awaesome music they have in this movie is best

  • I loved this Halloween II, and i loved the remake H2, but the thing i didn't like about H2 was the fact that the time at the hospital was a short period in the movie, it was like a dream. i felt like the remake was just the same idea as the first remake. there was no different setting. But both of the movies were amazing.

  • Another popular myth about Halloween is that you always see things through Michael Myers' eyes. That only happens once in the original movie, when a 6-year-old Michael kills his sister Judith. John Carpenter and Debra Hill mention in the DVD commentary that the camera is always adjacent to Michael, making the audience helpless accomplices in Michael's actions rather than seeing things through his eyes. The director of Halloween II got it wrong when he used the camera as Michael's POV.

  • rob zombies so called remake was absolutely terrible. He ruins the character of Laurie Strode he turns all the characters into trailer trash. I really didn't want any of the characters to survive in either of rob zombies remakes @megadethifyify halloween 6 was awful

  • Halloween 1,2,4,5,6, and 7 were good.

  • @megadethifyify No they were all crap apart from the original. Cash ins, nothing more.

  • Downloading b4 it gets removed, Never seen it H2 before I watched the original Halloween though...

  • i think they should remake season of the witch :D

  • MICHAEL MYERS WORSE THAN FREDDIE AND JASON AND THEIR FAKE SH!T!!!!!!!

  • HA, Michael Myers got startled by a dog!

  • @FallenSkyProductions Thank you ; ] Glad you agree with me on that.

  • why does everyone hate the rob zombie version? undeniably this is the better film, you cant touch the original, but i enjoyed rob zombies re imaging, and thats the key word, re imaging

  • @immarocker i guess because of the over-the-top blood and gore and the over-the-top sex.

  • thumbs up if you hate rob zombie's halloween and you want back a HALLOWEEN LIKE THIS

  • @kinggold787878 LOL, see that's the thing.. We're not gonna get back a damn Halloween, like this. That's why Rob Zombie's was a remake.. It's never gonna touch this shit. Never will. But, I'm not gonna lie. He did a DAMN good job, lol. You don't have to agree. But I loved it. Of course.. This one will always be the best.

  • @rupefan i agreed with you but movies like this coming only one or two times in the world...rob zombie's halloween is good, but is nothing compared to john's carpenter halloween...

  • @kinggold787878 Exactly. Rob Zombie's was off the chain. But it'll never compare to this shit. Ever.

  • Now, I love the classic. It's the shit. But Zombies remake? I loved it to death. I thought it was beyond brilliant, lol.

  • mr sandman CLASSIC!

  • Lord humongous after Jake Roberts ddted him

  • one of the best movies period, and the music here is 2nd to none

  • The real Halloween 2.

  • I don't even watch new movies anymore, just stick to the classics.

  • @shopdude10 Good 4 you, the remakes are just trash!!

  • The best thing about the original: YOU DON'T NEED MICHAEL'S BACKSTORY. same thing applies to the first movie! Rob Zombie (as much as i llke his music, failed in his remake...They wern't scary)

  • @jedinightwing It's not just that you don't need Michael's backstory, it's that Rob Zombie got the backstory all wrong. Michael Myers came from an ordinary suburban famliy. His mom wasn't a stripper and his dad wasn't an abusive drug addict. Zombie also missed the supernatural element that Carpenter put in his movie, and the mythology of Halloween and the Boogeyman. Michael isn't an ordinary psychopath like Leatherface; he's possessed by a force of evil. That's why he's called "The Shape."

  • @44excalibur MUCH LOVE! couldn't say it any better....THUMBS UP 4 U :)

  • @MINIeminemFAN Thank you! :)

  • @44excalibur You're indeed correct... Michael Myers is truly the embodiment of evil... he is after all my favorite slasher icon.

  • @44excalibur thats right man and Michael cannot die no matter what just like Jason. Although I'm more of Ghost Face (Scream) fan oh and Jason of course

  • @44excalibur Carpenter and Debra Hill had no designs on a sequel. He was supposed to be pure evil and picked on Laurie because she was there and wanted to see them dead. The brother/sister storyline was created after Part 1 was released. They were forced to make a part 2 for legal reasons (or something) and just came up with the brother/sister storyline one night when he was drunk. Lol. (This is from an interview Carpenter did).

  • @petie71 Yes, I know all this. Carpenter and Hill did Halloween II mostly to get paid what they should have been for the first film due to legal issues. It also happened to George Romero for Night Of The Living Dead. This is the risk in doing low-budget independent films. The brother/sister angle was unnecessary as the connection between Laurie and Michael in the first film was fine as it was, with both of them being "watchers." I also liked Curtis Richards' novelization of the first film.

  • @44excalibur you got it exactly right, i didn't like halloween1/2 remake

  • I hears 7 shots lol

  • where are other parts?

  • ok, i just saw the end of pt 1 where he fell and it was on the side of the house..even the terrace or patio upstairs is very different. i wonder why they didn't just stick with that scene instead of showing something so different. this is the problem i have with this intro..

  • did micheal fall in front of the house at the end of part 1?? i thought is was on the side or backyard? this front yard scene looks as if he fell on the sidewalk concrete. and at the end of pt 1 there nothing but dirt where he fell

  • One of the greatest Horror Sequels of all time to one of the greatest films of all time i love Halloween (1978) and Halloween ll (1981) Fuck the rest of the films.

  • Bottom line is.......the remake sucks, the original two are the best, no argument.

  • Happy Halloween!!

  • Thanks guys for the thumbs up...MUCH LOVE :) This Michael would tear up this "So-Called new imaged Michael"....but people are into it and I don't get it!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • first time i like all the comments to a video!!

  • Yesss watching Halloween on Halloween!

  • This movie is quite possibly the best sequel to an original film... this one and the Godfather Part II.

  • @Snicklefritz1979 i totally agree!!

  • The song at the beginning is scary as hell.

  • prob the only way to kill him is to chop off his head and yell "their can be only one!" micheal mayers is an immortal.

  • watching this on halloween (:

  • i know huh watching this on halloween lmao

  • This is how I first heard the Mr. sandman song, wierd. I use to wonder why they would put such a pleasant song in a horror movie but I now know why. Irony. Just like with the final destination 5 trailer and the ending of dr. strangelove.

  • My buddy Chris and Iand i have just been to see the original Halloween at the cinema and it was so bizarre, that the audience was actually laughing at the scarey moments. I turned to Chris and asked "Why do yeh think people are laughing?" and he said...and most probably rightly so "Because modern movies are so violent now that this film, altough terrifying twenty to thirty years ago, seems incredibly cheesy now to modern audiences who've never seen it!" Sad but true....

  • liked the pumpkin from the first halloween better, but this is still good especially when you see the skull inside. Happy Halloween 2011

  • Classic. I dislike the Rob Zombie remake

  • @youronebiggestfan rob zombie is good. but the classic is better

  • I wish AMC would have had 2 and 6 just so it would be even, I'm glad Halloween three is there though, i love it

  • i just relised im watching this on halloween haha

  • Love this movie, Happy Halloween!

  • I know im like wtf wheres #2!!

  • There's just no good horror movies anymore. These were the best.

  • why doesnt amc have the 2nd movie?

  • @MrPsppro95 i no they fuckin show pt 1and skip to part 3 makes no sense

  • @MrPsppro95 it sucks that AMC has all Halloween Movies even Halloween 3. It sucks

  • Happy Halloween to everyone!!!

  • this one is the best one

  • 12 dislikes?? Come on people.

  • The first movie had the best music. Not just the theme but the whole movie.

  • The only problem I had with this movie lol..was the fact that that had to be the most unpopulated hospital EVER! There was like six people working in the whole hospital lol

  • I will say that what got me through writing that script was... Budweiser. Six pack of beer a night, sitting in front of the typewriter saying, "What in the hell can I put down?" I had no idea. We're remaking the same film, only not as good.

Carpenter pretty much summed up Halloween 2 with these words.

  • YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT DEATH IS!!!! My favorite horror movie line.

  • now this is a horrow movie damn i love the classics wtf is hollywood doing now with all these remakes and stuff micheal myers/holloween americas most favorite fuck jason and friday the 13th!!!

  • "Humans!! You're not worth the flesh you're printed on!!"

  • Are you the Night of the Living Dead under there...like all bloody veins & puss?" "Night of the what?

  • "They’re coming to get you Barbara" LOL!!!

  • Laurie daughter was a foster kid like her

  • THIS IS A HALLOWEEN MOVIE!!! FUCK THE REMAKE SHIT!!! BRING BACK MIKE...BRING BACK MIKE!!!

  • @MINIeminemFAN Part two was great also, but the music in part one is the best. the music really sets the tone for the movie.

  • @bassmanjoe I agree! I even think the original was a better movie, I was just saying this a TRUE HALLOWEEN MOVIE...the remake stuff is a DISGRACE to the franchise. The original and part 6 are the two best of the franchise.

  • Laruie misses her dugther Jamie lloyd in haloween 4 and 5

  • Halloween II is a very good sequel...it picks up right where the original leaves off!

  • Its weird how in Halloween 1 he looks down from the house to see if Micheal Myers was still here, but in Halloween 2 he looks outside of the door when he comes out outside of the house.

  • @Lettich3407 Notice the music is different when Laurie is in the house with Michael laying on the floor.

  • @rufus317 I noticed that too.

  • Love it

  • I havent seen this in ages

  • This is Halloween 1

  • @josetheevilmuffin

    This is Halloween II lol

  • omg the guy who played michael is so fucking sexy..too bad he old now

  • Comment removed

  • At the end of the first Halloween Michael falls off the balcony onto a patch of dirt not grass

  • 240p we meet again!!!!

  • halloween is my favorite scary movie

  • In Haddonfield, Illinois October 31,1978 11 youtube viewers were brutally killed by the Killer Michael Myers All of the other 334 viewers knew he didnt want to do it but on that night he did the unthinkable.

  • doesnt anyone lock their doors anymore???

  • the movie was actually shot in pasadena california

  • "You don't know what death is"

  • "he's not human!" Michael: Yup. Damn straight!

  • Who's filming at around 7:25 to about 8:10? The footage looks like that from a hand-held camera as opposed to the still camera.

  • @Dac719 They do that alot in Halloween movies, it's for the effect of you being in michael myers shoes it wobbles around so it looks like your walking.

When they do that you can typically hear him heavily breathing in the mask

  • anyone ever notice how mike somehow walks rite on top of the rail and falls off when hes gettin shot 2:30 ? as hes walkin backwards out the window he just kinda walks to the top of the rail w / out even jumping upwards and then falls off

  • @jogu78 he walks up a ramp lol

  • Simply an October Must see anually! My personal favorite of all the Halloween Movies easily.! Especially when he fillets that dumb ass cops neck! From there on it's Pure TERROR at it's absolute best! And what a music Score!!

  • whys it showing the ending of movie 1 and guess what i am for halloween MUAHAHAHAHAHA

  • i loved this one better than any and let me point out some mistakes 1: starting at 0:51 the dialog isn't the same as the first Halloween 2: at 2:31 Dr.Loomis shoots mike in the front of the doyle house but in the first halloween he shoots mike in the back of the doyle house. if u find any more mistakes tell me...

  • @TheBombshell55 In the first Dr. Loomis shot Micheal six times. Even though he says the same in this movie he actually shot Micheal seven times here.

  • @stlouisrocker100 and in the first movie micheal was blonde as a kid and brunette as a adult so i can say i just got off the first movie i hate this series i noticed errors that are bullshit so so far my impressions are this series sucks so on to the second one

  • @stlouisrocker100 i bet you he did sum matrix move thats why he survived 7 bullets

  • @Qsergio123 Maybe.

  • Hulk Hogan! We comin for you nigga!

  • 8:37 I love how they're watching Night Od The Living Dead on another horror film XD

  • Great sequel for back in the day>>>>>loved it.....

  • Loomis: I shot him six times.

Me: Oh really? I counted seven times.

  • @stlouisrocker100 yeah as good as part 2 was there were quite a few fuckups considering carpenter and hill wrote the script.

  • @multibuddhaneo Pretty much all sequels have their fuck ups. You just have to learn to ignore them. It helps make sequels better.

  • never rly get why they play cute little music in horror movies... it just makes me wanna laugh.

  • @hawiiandelight I think it's supposed to add creepiness to the atmosphere. And to be honest it actually works sometimes.

  • ughhh not as scary without the original music!! ): im disappointed ):

  • IS that halloween II or halloween I?

  • @sonistanable Halloween 1 (the ending) beginning of part 2...

  • @doobyboy21 ok thanks a lot.

  • Rob Zombie ruin the original movie of Halloween he needs to stick with music and stop directing movies.

  • @mycrazylittlestar aman to that

  • love the intro muzik

  • this movie was reali$shed the same year as the first one (1978)

  • @emmanuel94e Well actually 1981... this was the last sequel written by Carpenter and Hill a continuation of the Halloween 1 movie.

  • @doobyboy21

is like. the retur of michael myers, revenge of michael myers, and the course of m m. is not directly compared or, have something to do with H20? or hallowean ressurection... H20 from 1998 ignores the 4 last movies.. halloween 3, 4, 5, and 6. thats how it is.--- H20 starts from where Haloween 2 (1981) ends

  • i think those old school songs like tha one at the begining scare the shit outta me!

  • the only movie to totally freak me out

saw the first one on halloween night in a drive in in cali, very scary drive home in the wind and rain!!

  • Great Movie!

  • Michael Myers vs Jason who do you think would win?

  • @cHriiSzbEe a slimy cunt-meat sadwhich!

  • @cHriiSzbEe jason faster micheal just stands there looking at you before he gets you jason will get you fast

  • Damn shame that officer missed all Myers' vital organs. Oh well, there's always more chances throughout the franchise ^_^

  • I don't entirely understand the intro, but I'm not complaining. I just need to ask, before I look at Part 2, is it worth me watching anymore without seeing the first film? ^_^
