  • A scary prospect for many Caribbean communities... thank you for informing us! Hopefully informing people of the many drawbacks of unsustainable tourism can help curb this kind of trend, especially in Belize.

  • Wow!!!! What an eye opener....I certainly KNOW the possibilities if this happens in Placencia. What concerns me is our money hungry leaders who are willing to trade our people and our country for pittances.

  • How come this does not happen in the Bahamas?

  • sandra.. you are wonderful.I like to see then you keep your strong spirit.still in my mind our meeting in livingston.ciao sandra

  • Excellent video! I teach tourism at the university level and I will DEFINITELY use this to supplement my lecture! I commend you !!

  • I applaude your video and your passion but Roatan from what I saw is a dump. We couldnt even walk off the pier and into the town without people running up to you begging. Soon as I saw that, I went back onto the ship.

  • @dougievid80 You should have scratched a little deeper - 10 minutes persistence would have given you a more accurate view - Check out my videos on roatan.

  • PLEASE, Placencia (more importantly, Belize Government and Belize Tourism) pay attention to this. You must NOT let this happen in Placencia, and you should discontinue letting cruise ships stop ANYWHERE in Belize.

  • sandra, i really appreciate your video, please email me at looey@looey.com
