It isn't so much an "injury" as a developmental bone disease. She grew so fast in the first year of life that somehow her right hind coffin bone did not develop properly. Rather, it formed a bone cyst. Fortunately, x-rays are showing continued improvement so hopefully someday she will have a completely healthy bone/joint again. Fingers crossed!
