  • Am I the only one who noticed the bling around the count's neck?

  • I believe her name is Countess Dahling von Dahling.

  • So if you want to frustrate The Count, Just say twenty something.

  • Count should have his own show

  • I love this skit.

  • There is a countess?

  • Isn't she a little too young to be seeing a guy in his 20s?

  • Yes, but then again, she's also too young to have a job.

  • Thumbs up if you're twenty something years old and you think this is still pretty funny. I'm 25 just for the record!

  • How many weeks has this clip been up here? I'd say about uh, twenty something.

  • The Count is sexy even in his shirtsleeves...

  • i didn't know there was a countess 0.o

  • I didn't know either.

  • That was so weird!

  • I like that part where he plays "Dun Dun Dun Dun Dun, Dun Dun!!!!" with the knocks (I think!)

  • Shave and a haircut, two bits!

  • Count seems to have done something about the squeak in the door.

  • Whoa. The Count's fingers work on both hands. Are there two puppeteers doing one Count?

  • Yup

  • so she dressed in her tiara and diamonds to go to watch a tv show....interesting

  • She always dresses like that.

  • Weiß jemand wie die Countess auf Deutsch genannt wird?? Kann das nirgends finden. Dankeee

  • Does anybody know the German name of the Countess? I can´t find it. Please help me. Thanks :)

  • What the F***? He is a vampire and he admits that kind of disrespect in his home??? Suck the blood out of that little girl or whatever....

  • that is their daughter...and probably in the show they are not vampires.

Depending on what legend you are thinking about then female vampires can't become pregnant. Reproduction of the species is done by turning...but again that depends on what mythology you use

  • Count was born a vampire. His whole family is made up of vampires. Therefore, according to the lore used by Sesame Street, vampires can be born.

  • LOL! I love this! :D :D XD

  • "I just love coming here! You guys are so supportive!"

    *awkward silence*

    LOLZ

  • The Count and Countess certainly enjoyed watching themselves on TV, and they certainly cracked up with the "20 something" part.

  • Count: O they hung up

well no wonder it rang 12 times

  • What's with the pause at 3:35? Did someone forget their line?

  • Haha, the have a look on their face like 'uh...ok' like they didn't really know what to say to such a random remark. It was probably something to do with the context of the show they where parodying.

  • Oh man, thanks for posting this one. I've been searching for this Thirty Something parody forever...

  • So Jerry Nelson plays the Count. Who plays the Countess?

  • It has got to be Fran Brill (Countess Dahling Von Dahling). Because Countess Von Backwards (Camille Bonora) was not created until 1996.

  • Well, she may not have gotten that name until then, but she did exist before hand. I remember an episode where she states that she loves to count backwards. And Camille is definitely performing her here. I can tell by the voice. Plus, Fran was performing Prairie Dawn. She couldn't have done both characters at once.

  • Maybe that's why Miss Piggy was sometimes performed by Richard Hunt when Frank Oz is busy doing other characters (such as Fozzie Bear).

  • Probably.

  • Haven't you guys heard of dubbing? Hunt might've performed Piggy when Oz was performing Fozzie, but you KNOW that Oz's voice is dubbed in afterward! Peace.

  • Not always. The two of them shared the role during the first season.

  • The Count needs to get an answering machine! :P

  • "That was a rerun."

"How many times have you seen it?"

    "Uh....about twenty times."

What funny stuff. I wished they had the writers from back in the days doing stuff like this.

  • Oh, they hung up LOL

Not bad for a 1990s sketch.

  • I did vaguely remember both parts of this clip. I remember the Count letting the Countess in, and I remember Prairie's "Hello" when she enters. But I had no idea they went together. Glad to have been enlightened.

I'm still waiting for an English language copy of the clip where the Count pops the question to the Countess and counts the times she rejects him.

  • Twenty-something, That's a parody of thirty-something. aired from 1987-91.

  • How about the show: " Count hills 1-2-3-4-5".

  • The guy is twenty-something (lol)... but how old is Prairie again? XD

  • Prairie Looks likes she's 16.

  • she is 7

  • Very funny parody! Plus a rare moment where they showed Muppets kissing on Sesame Street.

  • Prairie Dawn is called "Frannie" in this one-very cute inside joke. Very cute sketch too.

  • The Count gets twitchy whenever he hears "twenty-something". He's right, that's no number.

  • The next time I watch this clip, I have to count how many times the word "twenty-something" is mentioned during the show. Anyway, this is a good running gag for this skit.

  • Wow.

  • Another trip down memory lane found again! Thanks again G Man for bringing this back up

  • sawing14s is G-MAN from Muppet Central? Coolness!

  • I don't think that's the same that you're thinking of. His MC has another name.

  • What is Sawing's MC name? I'm not a member there, but I would like to join sometime.

  • MC's like a virtual funny farm now... :-/

  • What an odd segment.

  • You said it.
