I recently traveled the world (California - Germany) to marry my finace; however, she gave me the engagement ring back after only 3 days; & on Christmas night she called a taxi to pick me up & take me to the airport. I was supposed to spend 18 days with her (my soulmate or so I believed). I flew back to California and then decided to visit family in Florida. Every crisis is a blessing, yet we are often blinded by emotional attachments to see these blessings.

1998. Watch it--really great acting by Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman. Even if you read the book you'll still enjoy this modern adaptation ^^
