  • Obviously you have to do a lot of work on paved roads. How do you find the horses legs stand up to the percussion doing so much trotting on bitumen? By the way the blacks nice and flashy but its your broad beamed grey break horse that I would want to take home.

  • @blackbetsy59 Thanks for your comment - our grey horse Roly will have to have his own fan club soon! With regards to your question, out of all the horses we have broken to harness we have never had any problems caused by driving on the roads. However we ensure all our horses are shod properly for road work and we only ever do as much work as the horse is physically capable of (although this would apply to any horse in any discipline, ridden or driven, on any surface).

  • With that much heavy traffic around, you can be sure they get used to that very quickly....
