  • Hermosa!

  • question: does your white makeup crack or fade? everytime I use white foundation: powder or liquid, it never turns out right. Is it the brand you use maybe? or a certain way to blend it perhaps? any tips would be great!

  • I like you to tell me what type of make up have you used :) thanks

  • very nice makeup, but this isnt harlequin make up, its a Pierrot/Pierrette make up :)

  • @ANDIV @ANDIV Pierrot is another character in Italian commedia dell'arte. The difference is Pierrot was a very diverse character, hence him being a pantomime--and Harlequin was acrobatic and nimble, although foolish. The distinctive diamond shape in this makeup I have done is representative of the harlequin's distinctive costuming.

  • @tinymandolin I know where Pierrot is from. That make up is the typical Pierrot make up, specially the black tear drop but also the "diamond" on the other eye. Harlequin or Arlecchino usually has no make up, if anything he usually wears a mask that is the traditionally leather harlequin mask.

The diamons in his cloths(representing the rags of a poor man) are indeed the symbol of a Harlequin, but it has to be in a colorful mix, black and white are Pierrot colors.

  • AHAHAHAHAHAAHA<3

  • Wow! Awesome look!

  • This is amazing! i tried giving it ago today but was terrible at it. Would be great if it was slowed down so you could closely see and focus on what you was doing, especially the eyes

  • Thanks so much for the tutorial! I was a Harlequin for Halloween and your interpretation was my favorite and easy to follow!

  • Think this may have to be next years Halloween idea for me, loved it!

Though I would have liked to see a picture at the end, the fast forward was a bit too fast for me aha :)

  • loved the song~! ^^^

  • Wasn't it sad to wash it off again??

  • I love the end result, I just wish it wasnt so fast. And that you walked us through it verbally or atleast with some captions. It looks great though.

  • What kind of makeup dis u use to cover tour face?

  • Really awesome, but slow it down a bit and you should include what type of make-up you used, like every time you gonna use something write the name on the bottom or something. Onther than that I loved it.

  • Thank you for this tutorial! I will be a harlequin this Halloween and I intend on using your makeup tutorial as inspiration.

  • Love, love, love this look! Thanks! I may use it for halloween this year! =D

  • Although it's already 10 mins, the video goes by so quickly its almost hard to tell what you're doing. BUT it looks good, cool! I might try it for this Halloween

  • ur cute

  • Beautiful harlequin look!

  • I am planning a harlequin look for halloween and was wondering if you could add a supply list of what you used. thank you this is amazing only wish it were a lil slower

  • its really good, but its a little bit quickly ..

  • this is really pretty. also this is random but i sorta think u look like anna kendrick....just sayin =]

  • Wow this is such a striking look, i want to try it out on myself now, :) Right, anyone got some white foundation and a spare hour to help :) xxx

  • Gorgeous! How long did it actually take you? :)

  • @shumila About an hour from start to finish :-)

  • Wow! That's amazing.... I think I just fell in love with you XD jk

You pull off the look SO WELL!!! I really love this!

  • amazing! but it was kinda boring :/

  • You are. Amazing.

  • amazing :O!

any way you could tell us what products you used? Xx

  • @gracefulscilence I should definitely start figuring out a way to include a list of products I used when I put these up!... but I did white color cup all over & set w/ Make Up For Ever HD Powder, black color cup for lips, eye-slash & teardrop detailing, then for the eyeshadow I used my 120 BH cosmetics palette (1st edition)... I also used the 120 palette to make the grey contouring color & the bright cheek color :-)

  • Very original :), like this.

  • So gorgeous. Your really Talented. Keep them coming <3

  • gorgeous makeup chica!! glad you clarified that information about a harley quinn with the folks not familiar with this type of character ;) thumbs up ;)

  • i really like yours- its a interpretation.. but xxmichealjames does a really good tutorial on how to do her exact makeup

  • @AllAccessAlex I'm not doing the character Harley Quinn from the Batman series. A harlequin actually goes back many, many years and is a comic character in Italian commedia dell'arte :-)

  • @tinymandolin ohh... ^_^
