I provide lots of advice on DIY Filmmaking on twitter @eyeforatooth. I forward links on how to make your own camera stabilizers, dollies, etc. as well as to websites for Micro Indie filmmakers. I also post a list of highly rated books on screenwriting and filmmaking that I've read and like to share with other up and coming filmmakers who are truly serious about the craft.
We are far from being pros. We're actually a rag tag group of DIY, Micro Indie filmmakers who make our own equipment such as dollies, track dollies, camera stabilizer arm. This is actually my first completed video project ever. The other is my movie Eye For a Tooth which is still in post. No one was paid in this production, the kids are from the day care my own kids attend.
Yeah...I agree with you guys it's sad that average people have to compete with Hollywood film makers using professional equipment and paid child actors. Although I actually think this is too long and dramatic with talk of WWI and the 1918 flu pandemic.
Lol. We're still working on Eye For A Tooth--5 years in the making. We're not quite Hollywood; we're just a rag tag group of Micro Indie filmmakers with a passion to create beautiful movies. This swine flu PSA seemed like a great way to challenge our creativity and do a public service at the same time. I hope you enjoy!

Nice propaganda piece.

I really thought you guys would have made the short list...I would have picked your video over most the 10 that were picked...Keep up the good work.

The music is original. The composer for my movie Eye For a Tooth, Nicholas O'Toole did the music for us.
