Love it!!! I got your 13 disc blues tutorial for christmas!!! I had to drop mad hints to my wife, but she wasn't catching them so I just had to tell her directly!!! Good stuff man. As I was listening to the dvd I heard something that reminded me of "sexual healing" and came straight to youtube and was excited to see that you had a tutorial. BTW, Thanks for the G to C pregression hint.. I was trying to play Grateful Dead-Ripple and first 2 chords are G and C.. I tried opting for the Cadd9 but just did not sound as good! This hint works great! Thanks!! Wish you would sing a bit so I could get timing to when to start and stop. I know its not about how to sing it but it would really help if you would start singing a bit please!!! Oh and MARTY! I would really enjoy seeing you play a cover of Inner City Blues, jazz style.. No singing!

Hey I like how you are using that Martin that has all the character!

Did you put all the minor dings and scratches and wear marks in it yourself? What do you think about buying a used guitar with blemishes already in them? Do you think it deters from the sound? Obviously a hole in the top would , but as far as cosmetic scratches and wear like your Martin has. If I were to buy a used Martin that looked like that is it still worth the value that I pay for it?

Minor dings and scratches don't affect the sound as demonstrated by Tommy Emanuel's guitar. My Larrivee plays like a champ with repaired top crack and some dings on it. Now good used guitar buys are to be had with the minor cosmetic blemishes, and sound terrific. If you pay a "fair" price when you buy then its value will in line with time and use by you and future resell of it.
