I felt sorry for Christian, because he inherited his mother's addictions. I really admire him because he was a good looking guy who could've easily become a hunk actor like his father and follow in his father's shadow, but instead he became an honest hard worker. Welding is very difficult and dangerous. Christian may've only had a tenth grade education, but he was smart and special in a lot of ways. In Jack Nicholson's biography, he was described as Marlon's "favorite son"!

Christian's mother was an alcoholic who could not get work after the divorce & ended up living in a trailer. CB's psyche was bruised at a young age. He became a raving alcoholic. Killed Dag Drollet while extremely drunk after Cheyenne, who was a schizo, told Christian her babydaddy Dag beat her, which was either a lie or a delusion.
