  • I've never known a band that I wanted to like more, but they just keep disappointing. Horrible sound and never any connection to audience. But I still love WH, is that wrong? weird?

  • Ugh, Ron Holloway's playing really bothers me.

  • Change is good and WHB is great.

  • Robert Randolph would be awesome in some WHB songs

  • I'm sure it's a matter of taste..I like Warren who ever he plays with. I am sorta partial to ABB when he's with Derek and Co. This song, though I like it more up tempo like Palmer did it. Peace y'all!!

  • I'll admit , I'm not crazy about change . Especially when it involves sidelining Mule for the better part of 2011 . I'm trying to give WHB a fair chance , but thus far , I find it really boring . I've heard a lot about Higgins on drums , but from what I've seen he couldn't tote Abts' stick bag .

  • @squabs217 Totally in agreement. Matt Abs, as Warren has told many times, is the "one and only Matt". Yes, I'm not impressed with Ivan Neville and when he was opening for Gov't Mule it was really, really boring.

  • @JACOMAQUEO

I gave WHB another shot at Wanee ... my opinion hasn't changed at all .

  • @squabs217 have you heard Hattiesburg Shuffle?I just heard it today- it's awesome-better songwriting, in my opinion-but thats just me-

  • beautiful song, but first Mule was better:-(

  • Ivan Neville making that B-3 talk. It doesn't get any better than that!! :)

  • that's terrance higgins on drums...andy faraq is the scene's most useless percussionist

  • uhhh boring

  • whoa! is that THE warren haynes 1961 gibson es335?!? i though he only used that in the studio?

  • Not to be a nit pick, but Sneakin Sally is an Allen Toussaint tune. That said, Robert Palmer definitely owned it with his interpretation from which this covered cover was derived.

I cannot wait to catch this lineup in '11.

  • @BodisatvaZen : You are absolutely correct, and thank you for pointing that out. Allen Toussaint is criminally under-recognized, and I was contributing to that!

  • The Warren Haynes Band.... Ivan Neville on keys, Ron Holloway on sax, Terrence Higgins on drums, Ron Johnson on bass, Ruthie Foster on vocals... What a set.... what a nite

  • Warren is The Man ... The show to be at ...this one , The Xmas Jam... Thanks for sharing this video , it's awesome ... nice job...

  • Whoa - "Sneakin' Sally" AND Ruthie Foster? SO much goodness right here!!

  • this is delightfully funky.

Remember all my hippie brethren/sisters, you can't spell FUNk without FUN.

  • Wow man, thanks for this awesome post!

  • someone get robert randolph to this shit next year...fuckin serious

  • very awesome inspiring performance of the debut of Warren Haynes Band - i feel privileged to have had the opportunity to see them perform -

  • its all good
