  • Sweet bass parts. Chords and moving parts. <3

  • why do i love it soo fcking much?:D

  • i prefer this to dep, i think this sounds less cluttered and more like a song. i still love dep tho and can someone explain why my chemical romance is in the related videos box?

  • good sounding mathcore. what an oxymoron, i thought. then i heard this.

  • Wow! Me ha encantaddo! *-*

  • im 23 and i dnt think im old enough for this music yet. maybe in a year or two

  • @59fiftydeep Really?Im 14 and i love it,too much technical for you?You can start with Rush

  • @TheGuiPB hhhhhhhhhhaa

  • @59fiftydeep listen too breakdown of sanity.

  • lol

  • I love screaming vocals as much as the next guy, but this... eh. I like the music behind it, but the vocals kinda kill it for me. Back to Botch and Converge I go!

  • @BurglaryoftheSenses These are great heavy vocals imo. And it fits the music pretty much perfectly.

  • Love this band. Only gripe: while their screams are whatever, their singing is horrid.

  • So, I came here because I wanted to hear a band with two screamers, because Me and A good friend are starting one. But half way through I realized I had been lost in the drums o.O

  • Fuck what everyone says, 12 is fucking awesome.

  • @MattCarbotti exactly, what they were about, if you ask me!! you can't make this kind of music if you worry about opinions, either you get it, or you don't and if you get it, you're able to honestly enjoy every last second of every single song

  • It's unbelievable that the best high pitch screamer and the best low pitch growler are in the same band. Listen to Jesus and Tori or Alright I Admit It, It Was A Whorehouse by these guys to edify this claim.

  • fuck, screams are awesome

  • ...-just- like you. If you're going to steel a title, at least be accurate about it. =3

  • @SirenitySilver acually they got their name from a tv show called the twilight zone, and the title of an episode was "Number Twelve Looks Just Like You" they did steal the title but the "just" just made it sound bad an not flow as well :)

  • @TheOfficialArsenic Haha, yeah, I know. English class has educated me on the matter. It's why I recognized the title.

  • Mathcore is so epic

  • 1:53 PWNED

  • It reminds of The Beatles's song I am the walrus. For the random beat changes, I mean.

  • So talent isn't needed in music now?

  • @Realfucksake are you saying these guys have no talent?

  • @Realfucksake

Stop. You don't know anything about rhythm. Give up.

  • @nlo13 This is pretty much the worst song ever. They sound a bit like a poor mans Kiss Kiss, and kiss kiss of course is a shitstorm of a band itself.

  • @Realfucksake That's your opinion bro

  • I'm glad that their new live album is coming out soon. I miss these guys.

  • Thank you mister worker from Earthbound who told about this band!:D

  • The first time I listened to this I couldn't take it. It was far too unorthodox and weird for me.

    Then, I opened my mind.

    I love it

  • I've never heard anything like this before, unique music, I love it

  • @st00pidp0ckets ironically, their drummer is Jon Karel, same drummer you said was trash and couldn't keep time in a different video two weeks ago ^_^

  • @STEAMBOLT Yeah, the drums in Sawtooth Grin are awful, they're really off time. But Sawtooth Grin in general sounds like shit. He's so much better in this band than he is in Sawtooth Grin

  • those little guys look like fucking mushi-shi :DDD

  • these guys are seriously amazing

  • They sound like Foxy Shazam, little less psychotic though... If you like this one, try Foxy ^___^

  • @johngmr your n idiot the scream so hard so how is it less psychotic explain that one question your a FOOL

  • @daughterspelledwrong If you have ever listened to Foxy Shazam, you might understand. The screams are similar.

  • @johngmr Foxyyy <3 They do sound similar, but this one leans more towards "emo." Foxy Shazam seems more... upbeat.

  • @TheDIYZombieHunter .... -_- not emo

  • @TheDIYZombieHunter .... -_- not emo

  • Hold my hand let's start the decay.

  • I've never been a huge fan of the vocals but this band kicks ass. The ending of this song fucking rules. Mathcore FTW

  • Obviously They Didnt Learn Their Lesson From Harry Potter.

Yu Arent S'posed To Drink Tha Blood Of a Unicorn.

    Yu Git All Trippy&&Shit.

    Smdh u_u

    Lmao Their Great♥

  • GOGO Follow them on Twitter! They said thy are seeking for 1000 Followers and if the goal is reached they reveal a secret! Holy shit, do it!

  • crazy motherfucker niger

  • The instruments are good but the vocals are fucking horrible

  • best song ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WATCHI THIS WHEN YOUR ON ACID

  • TheNum12LLU is Number 12's twitter, go follow it because once they reach 1000 followers they are announcing a surprise!

  • My heart is still broken. R.I.P. tntlly!

  • FUCK THIS BAND IS ACTUALLY AMAZING! JESUS

  • 4 is my favorite number and this song has 3 fours. yay.

  • @TheTdwpforever and 3 times 4 is 12 lol

  • the 179 people who disliked this, suffered epileptic seizures from this awesome music, causing them to accidentally click the dislike button. this music is not for the weak and faint of heart.

  • Why the fuck My Chemical Romance appears on the suggestions I realy hate that piece of shit, it can´t be called a band

  • @dhr416 They were signed on eyeball records forever ago.

  • mindfuck, braingasm acheived.

  • we will see that the lies are filtered, the decpetion is diminished upon entrance. Your mind is not affected by the numbing-ignorance pounded down into each of us. our souls the victims, crying out in pain, desperation. For a better reason, a more distinct explanation of our reality. An impossible combination of letters and numbers that we could only randomly organize. it's beyond our capabilities to reach out to the great director of act 1. fate will lead us to our final destinations. answers.

  • spilling out the words, with unimagineable passion. Unmatchable vigor and intensely purified sentences.every word has it's own distinct taste that altogether alters the finish product of the dish. served chilled and dressed in sugar we all thought we knew the most accurate explanation. I figuratively understood everything that was misinterpreted by the storytellers. intentively I listen and impose my obssession with chaos upon the community of blind freedom fighters.

  • and with this fragment of information that you hold so tightly. you will crush every meaning my words intended to influence, chaotic-lust driven being into simple, perfect robotic movements that fail at mimicking a deception that disguises itself with promises of perfection, harmony and love.

  • @MarioOwnsYourCake and so i shall, embark upon an attempt to symbolize the thoughts that dwell in the dark depths of my flesh entombed secret-keeper. My thought-prison, inside which the mysteries have summoned in dissected incomplete questions. my empty stare says so much more than a story could ever teach.

  • "Mathcore - when professional musicians at the top level of skill getting bored of making normal genres, they start this kind of music."

  • @pkstaytrue

i wouldn't call screaming like a rape victim "top level of skill"

  • @iAple lol but to be fair mathrock or mathcore isnt the easiest to create a vocal melody over... you should look up sikth.lol ittll help you not to focus on vocals so much as badassness

  • @maju36able I do enjoy math rock a lot (This town needs guns, Giraffes giraffes, tera melos) the complexity of their rythms is just sick. The one part i dislike is the scream based singing, whatever the genre is, i cant believe they would actually defile this awesome musical style with it.

  • @iAple ... plz tell me your kidding.. i dont wanna start being a dick until you tell me your serious

  • @bozoshmeegle I am, why can't i dislike hardcore?

  • @iAple

ahh math-y hardcore is the best. To each his own, I guess, but , a. screaming actually does take skill and b. the vocalist still has to follow all those crazy rhythms. good song.

  • People like to gripe about the style of scream that these guys are about, but really, i feel like the style evokes a certain kind of serious believable emotion to the music. It's not so generic and easily applicable like that of like, any grindcore band or even like TDWP and shit like that, it's all so used and so formatted.

It's in that sense, as well as others, that TNTLLY are more poetic and artsy, in my opinion.

  • @anotherSIS reminds me much of blood brothers, only more shrewd.

  • This band is FUCKING AWEOSME!

  • lol someone i know said they liked grindcore and they told me about this band, and this is not grindcore (IMO) but im not hating on this band.

  • Mathcore

  • My Chemical Romance is on the sidebar because they were signed to eyeball records, JUST like this band.

  • can someone please tell me how the fuck My Chemical Romance and Escape the Fate are on the sidebar???? goddamn mainstream is in everything nowadays -.-

  • Great music ruined by terrible, terrible vocals.

  • @soggehpancakesXO these vocals are amazing, queer.

  • @soggehpancakesXO Not into screamed vocals?

  • @soggehpancakesXO what are u smoking? this guy has amazing range and depth to his voice.

  • @soggehpancakesXO

People who criticize bands that scream generally lack the ability to do it. I don't know if you've ever noticed, but it is NOT easy to shriek like that at all, it requires years of practice.

  • I didnt read the title the first time I saw this and I could have sworn it was PsyOpus... Either way this is freakin great! (No hate on psyopus they are amazing too)

  • @br00t4lJacob

    Do you wanna die?

  • This is so gay

  • what genre is this???

  • @ToguroKun Math core it uses odd timeings

  • @battlestarter3 thanks

  • oh shit this was filmed in coney island

  • Woah... I just found this band and I'm already loving it. Seriously, I haven't been this attached to music since I listened to The Fall of Troy

  • @3656austin too bad both bands already broke up... sorry bro:-(

  • @3656austin best comment ive seen on youtube in a long time. long live TFOT

  • @3656austin How? The Fall Of Troy's effect can only be used.. by you know.... the fall of troy

  • @3656austin DUDE RIGHT!? I'M FUCKING BENT ON FINDING A BAND THAT I CAN LOVE LIKE FALL OF TROY, alas everything else is just garbage screamo bullshit. fall of troy sounds so fucking unique and adventorous and seriously evoke my imagination, its a journey, like a novel listening to their rifts and shit. this is the closest thing i can find.

  • @DirrrrtyDan Dude check out chon. TFO is one of my favourites too.

  • @DirrrrtyDan try The Sound of Animals Fighting

  • @3656austin check out Genghis Tron , and also the mars volta, and uhh tera melos, you might like themz

  • @kumaburnface thanks man, always good to find some different music

  • @3656austin gotta love mathcore

  • @3656austin TFoT is what really got me into music!

  • @3656austin Please do not remind me of TFoT, still too soon :((

  • Awesome that they take their name from a twilight zone episode.

  • this song is just epic

  • Oh my F***ng Jesus.

These four words describe my emotions right now, even if I'm muslim. :O

    Awesome! :)

  • I used to be musically ignorant... then I grew out of it. This is fucking awesome.

  • nope. :|

  • I listened to this like a year or so ago

And I hated it then, but now I really like it

  • See? kids? If you want to solve math problems in class, just bring in your mathcore band! :D Solve problems all der!!!!!

  • wtf is this kid talking about no bass influence, listen to the bas and youl hear it dude holy shit lmaoignorant comments make me laught and thats al there sems to be on youtube now adays

  • good shit. ppl r ignorant 2 talent.

  • Haha This Song just made me Laugh.. I Think it's Quite Funny, and Hilarious. xD

  • This band is terrible. There's like no bass influence. It's like Dance Gavin Dance all over again.

  • @ZomgNinjah

Yet another ignorant fuck populates the world..

  • @Satoshikuun My favorite bands are The Chariot and Dillinger Escape plan. Both very mathcore influenced. How the fuck are you gonna call me ignorant? Do you even know what I'm talking about to begin with?

  • @ZomgNinjah Honestly I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about:D How could you compare dgd to this fucking incredible band? Please explain it to me/us...

  • @toothandtiger Listen to this song and then listen to Dance Gavin Dance's "Me and Zoloft Get Along Just Fine". As obvious as it is to me, If you can't find a comparison between the two then i don't know how else to explain it.

  • @ZomgNinjah Sorry, I don't get your point... In the song you named I hear a bunch of emo-kids trying to sound complex. Don't get me wrong. I do not hate emocore or whatever you want to call it, but #12 is in my opinion something completely different. For me it is a very modern form of jazz. You said that you like the chariot and dillinger... Wars&rumors of wars and calculating infinity are two of my favourite math-core cds, but mongrel is still my number one in this genre:D

  • dude, the singer is like... bad. and the whole broken rhythm thing at 1:10 is just annoying...

  • So complex ima put headphones on my wife's stomach and hopefully when she has the baby it will be a musical genius

  • Are they still together? Like..still a band?

  • @speedmans24 unfortunately, no :(

  • @J4K30000 Why not???

  • @speedmans24 the band broke up due to the reason that all of them had personal health, family, or social issues to deal with and couldnt make time to go on tour, one of the vocalists justin (with the brown hair and beard) gets harsh anxiety attacks. it truely is a shame but the 12 spirit will never die

  • @myfreakinchannel oh...i hate how everyband i listen to breaks up...

  • @speedmans24 i know it sucks why do all the good mathcore band with real talent in music always break up and leave us with fucking attack attack and asking alexandria... ):

  • @myfreakinchannel Because Attack Attack and Asking Alexandria can easily replace members that leave with some random guy who has at one point in his life played whatever instrument they need to replace. I think they got lucky to find Jon Karel to replace Chree, but who in the world can play drums like Jon or guitar like Alexis Pareja? Or scream like Jase and Justin? Not many that I can think of. Or maybe the trick is to name your band with two words starting with the letter A, LOL.

  • @1by1illknockuout i dont think anyone could correct you further LOL dude if only people didnt take a first listen to this band and go WTF THE SCREAMING EW LIKE A DYING CAT, yeah? well listen to how much more talented each member of this band is than ben from aa, and lee from bmth, all they do is breakdowns, riffs on the e and a string and tremelos, 12 is amazing because when you listen to them its like a fucking punch in the face YOU DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED BUT YOU FUCKING LIKE IT >:D

  • @myfreakinchannel I'm kinda confused by this post but I agree with it. I'm particularly confused by the "I don't think anyone could correct you further...", why would I need to be corrected? Oh well, rock on.

  • @speedmans24

No, a bunch of members dropped out from depression until they just broke up. Justin, the screamer with the beard dropped out from depression, and the other screamer was holding responsibilities for a little while until they just broke up. The screamer with the white shirt on manages foxy shazam.

  • @dancingwithcalvin Foxy Shazam sucks. This band is way better. Did they break up last year or 2009?

  • Am I the only one who looked at the title and immediately thought of "The Twilight Zone"?

  • @NinjaUnicorn8D Clearly that's where they got it from.

  • this video kinda sucks

  • whats "mathcore"?

  • @NaruAMV1 this is mathcore, unique mathcore that will never ever be duplicated in any sense. these boys were the best.

  • @urbeat2006 what IS it though?

  • @NaruAMV1 i mean, i dont like to label bands like this because they were just so unique, but its just basically like technical post-hardcore. thats how i would put it. id really just label the number 12 as a prog rock band if i had to. or prog-core, i just made up a new genre, prog core, hah. listen to something like dillinger escape plan, they were the fathers of "math-core." though i dont think they like to be labeled that way. but everyone does. thats just my opinion.

  • @NaruAMV1 someone is gonna tell me im an idiot by the way and that i have no idea what im talking about. all i know is i have loved this band from the beginning and i miss em. math-core is like a fusion of math rock, and hardcore, hence the name mathcore. its just really techincal, unusual time signatures, blah blah, not to the extent that math rock has, but u know. check it out on wikipedia, im sure there is a massive explantation of what exactly math core is.

  • @NaruAMV1

Mathcore usually involves strange time-signatures or odd rhythmic structure. Basically, a more technical approach to metalcore or post-hardcore.

  • They deff arent bad. I would enjoy it more I feel if there werent lyrics and just music. Just an opionion. Still very talented all around.

  • @Hallstaintedred You might want to check out Giraffes? Giraffes!, they're an instrumental band and sound kinda similar to these guys.

  • need a PhD in Math to figure out that drum pattern/signature!!!

  • I've been listening to these guys for almost 4 years. The first song i heard from them was Texas Dolly. Texas Dolly was also the first song i ever fully learned to play on my drums too. (Been drumming for over a year now.)

This band is just so amazing. They're brilliant. I listen to them all the time and can still never get enough. It breaks my heart knowing that they aren't together. R.I.P tntlly!

  • Comment removed

  • I listened to this when i was in middle school and i fucking loved it!....Now i'm done with highschool and i love it still!

  • @DaViDdOrE69 you finished highschool and part of middleschool in 3 years?

  • is that the famous water aquaduct in new york slimy? croton duct?

  • is that the famous water aquaduct in new york slimy?

  • Found this band after watching a review for Iron Cobra pedals by Jon. I have to say I really like the drumming.

  • The people who don't like it are the people who can't play it

  • @pointless5ive You can? Cause I know I can't but I do think it's awesome.

  • 2:57 that melody just stuck in my head :D

  • 3:50 <333

  • This is trippy music to listen to if you're baked. I don't smoke, though. I was just saying, if you were high it might be cool..... 0.o

  • Dont like this band? then dont comment -,-

personally i loved this band and their music -3

    RIP #12lookslikeyou

  • Dear the 173 people who disliked this.

You're all obviously huge Rebecca Black fans.

Go dig a nice big hole, and then die in a trash can.

If you're wondering why you dug a hole, it's to teach you a lesson.

    #12lookslikeyouRIP<3

  • maravilla!!!

  • This sounds like fucking shit coming out of my ass

  • @andyf103 ....Your shit must be pure musical genius.

  • this band is by far my fave grindcore band. I would say they are the most easy and musical of the genre. They have melody

  • All I'm hearing is a second-rate Dillinger Escape Plan.

  • @davethehostage that's funny, because when I listen to Dillinger Escape Plan, I hear 97th rate Number 12 Looks Like You.

  • @1by1illknockuout That would be a little odd, considering that the Dillinger Escape Plan are the very pioneers of this genre, and have been around a notable while longer than this band. It would kind of be like calling Slayer a second rate Slipknot.

  • @davethehostage The first isn't always the best. Is the first ever computer better than computers that came out a few years later? Of course not. But I suppose it would be like calling Jay-Z a second rate Kurtis Blow....oh wait a second.........

  • @1by1illknockuout True, but one need only compare the quality of the material produced by both bands over the years to gauge which band is generally more respected. Compare the ratings received by any Dillinger album to any of those received by a N12LLY (I'm not taking the time to spell that one out) album. You'll find the odds are not in your favour, friend.

  • @davethehostage it depends on what ratings you look at. I have not found a bad review of a #12 album yet, though to be honest I don't seek out reviews, because I don't really understand why we should listen to some random person and take their opinion as truth. I've seen maybe 3 or 4 reviews, like 2 of Mongrel and 2 of Worse Than Alone, all of which were 4/5 or 5/5 ratings. I'm sure there are bad ones out there, this style of music certainly isn't for everyone.

  • @davethehostage I guess what we can surmise from this exchange is that you like DEP better than #12, and I like #12 better than DEP, to which I would say.........fair enough. Wow, this is way different than 99% of youtube debates. By now, one person would've called someone's mom a whore or said the other had no life and was homosexual surely.

  • @1by1illknockuout Understandable. And not to worry, I've been reassured many times on youtube that I'm am a lifeless homosexual with a whore of a mother.

  • Holy shit this has to be one of their most uninspired and generic songs.

  • @FetalityMetal trololololol

  • I don't like the vocals. Everything else is great.

  • this is so wierd. lol

  • Why do I see the same arguments everywhere on youtube? Grow up kids.

  • @JeffreyMulac8

yeah man i completely understand you, i mean im fifteen and i listen to most of the bands you say you hate but i know what you're talking about with the whole "im evil and fucking pissed," and their shitty sounds that thay have. thats why i like listening to bands like the #12 because they have a good sound (holy god of a drummer) and i love jazzy mathcore like bands like them. and yes this band is jazz and mathcore, if you didnt know. listen to the gardens allnighters by the #12

  • Don't give a shit about all these idiotic genres. I was 8 when Led Zep 1 came out. Metal is dying, and I am BORED with all the cookie monster screaming-Black Dahlia-boring! At least #12 has some incredible song structure, John Karel is amazing. And Between the B.& M. is a promising band ( great drummer) I don't expect Ronnie James Dio, but can anyone really sing anymore? If I sound old to young guys, who cares? I do love Periphery. The "ooh,
