  • I just love the Germ! :)

  • we all know mango is the best.

  • Gooo Germ! i hate c falcons....

  • who`s the best player--------silent spectre,pinkshinobi,the germ,the king or zelgadiz?¿¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?

  • king

  • Omfg O_o 3:05-3:07 The captain falcon version of a Ken combo!! Flip -> Flip -> Flip -> KNEE off the stage =D

  • 1) SS's ledge cancels are insane

    2) Germ's bomb are amazing c-c-c-c-combo breakers

  • Silent Spectre is really good, it's too bad he doesn't travel outside of California much. He could have been one of America's best.

  • He's #1 In NorthCal I believe...That's pretty good already..

  • That would be Pink Shinobi.

  • Really...I thought he beat Pink Shinobi lots of times O-o...

  • Yeah, but in light of Genesis' results, Pink Shinobi has retaken his place on the NorCal Power Rankings.

  • Aww I see, oh well Silent Spectre still rape...

  • JEFF!!!!!

  • these guys are freaking ridiculous O_O

  • 3:04 - 3:08 sweet combo.

  • I totally agree, last stock was an awesome combo

  • Even better was that combo in their first match where SS pillared him like he was picking Falco. Just...epic.

  • loved that wheel of rape at the end.

  • I'm sorry but... why would The Germ pick DREAMLAND to counterpick against a FALCON???

  • so he can SURVIVE longer, and because he LIKES the stage.

  • wtf, Dreamland has ALWAYS been Falcon Land, its a horrible stage for Link. He needs large stages like FD to projectile Falcon and keep him approaching. I dunno, I followed Aniki more than the Germ, and he usually countered with larger stages.

  • not really. its a good falcon stage, but its better for characters who like room AND have amazing recoveries. DL64 isnt that great for falcon vs characters that survive much longer than him (puff, marth, samus, ect) and i would say germ was going for that.

regardless, neutral stages don't change gameplay that much between them, other than minor platform differences and killzone sizes.

btw germ does camp as link. especially vs fast characters, link's slow projectiles don't get him far.

  • But Falcon attacks so much faster than Link, any Link except the very best would get overwhelmed. And Link is easy to combo.

The only real advantage Link would have here is spin attack edge guard, the falcondorf slayer.

  • how could aniki counter when the only other stage that they play in japan is FD........

  • I don't know the specifics, I just like watching Aniki fight, and trying to emulate his style.

  • *Pours 40oz for Link*

  • LMAO!!

  • Wheel of Fortune!!! xD

  • lol how does that lingering nair hitbox work??

    2:25

  • he did a second one right before he hit the ground

  • It wasn't a second nair, it was actually the first hit of a bair.

  • No. That's just a unique property of Link's Nair. It was only one attack. It has an odd extra hitbox as the move completes.

  • I hate that. I play my neighbor's link aaall the time. If you don't have much experience against a link, that sex kick of is REALLY gets you b/c it only looks like it's done.

But I've gotten used to it. Link's nair lasts 36 frames, then hitbox lasts from 4 aaall the way to 36. Unlike fox or falco's which stops hurting at frame 27. (Data taken from superdoodleman, I looked it up when my friend's link would always do that to me.)

  • oh, yeah. and actually, first time watching I didn't think anything strange until I realized other people found it perplexing.

  • LAWL @ random guess.

yeah it's just the ending of a nair.

  • it's called a "sex kick." go look it up somewhere.

  • 1:35 was really nice by the germ, great use of prediction

look at the germ go, hes so smart with the recovery and stuff

    really good

  • Silent Spectre's ledge canceling is amazing. He ledge canceled his recovery UP+B at 0:43 and a dair at 1:04. I am really impressed.

  • 1:04

  • You should always aim to ledge-cancel your Up-B if you have to land on the stage with Falcon. I myself only get the ledge-cancel ~25% of the time, but you're usually safe anyway if your opponent had an attack waiting for you at the edge already. But yes, the Dair -> Uair ledge-cancel was top-notch :)

  • Germ thinks he is playing brawl ( 0:55 )

    Z-air etchguarding, rofl

  • fuck brawl stfu

  • Just for the info,

I main melee , fack brawl, captain falcon lost his manlyness in brawl!!

how can I ever forgive them ! NEVER!

u insulted me for a brawl player, u WILL get moveshowyerred and kneed and punched in 1337 minutes.

  • WHEEL OF FORTUNE!!!!

  • wtf @ the lingering nair hitbox at 2:25

  • lol, oldest trick in the book

  • 1:04 edgecancelled dair to nair. I can't think of any other player talented enough to do that on purpose.

  • Actually, it was an edgecancelled dair to uair on 1:04. Indeed--that's talent. :>

  • Lovage.

  • Lmfao I do it all the time on purpose and so do other people. Stop polejocking

  • holy shit

  • nice battle and nice combo by SS, 2 of my 5 favorite smash players omg, thanks for this battle =)

  • Jeff is the only person I don't counterpick characters or ban any stages(because he doesn't). Love you Jeff, you my boy, you're the only person I love losing to, DBR.

  • that last sentence is the truest shit my nigga don williams ever said in his life, word? word.

    ^not suppose to make sense.

  • germ's movement is really good...

    -kfc

  • whats with the last 2 stock rape combos by ss

  • My two mains and the players i look up too in one match. ;_; Dreams do come true.

    Merry Christmas.

  • i can't even count how many sexy ledge cancels SS did this match. that's freaking amazing @_@

  • gg for rape button, germ is always fun to watch as well dbr woot!!

  • WHEEL OF FORTUNE!!!

  • So many edge cancels from every1. LOL

  • owwy

  • OHH DAM! AWSUMM xD....

  • lol at the zair at 0:55. This aint brawl dude!

  • Yeah wtf was germ thinking with that zair?

  • its really easy to accidently do a zair

  • when you jump out of shield and try and nair with samus or link, it's not rare even for good players to be slow on letting go of R/L or just forget to let go in the speed of the game. mistakes are still bad news bears but yeah, i think that explains why.

  • At 3:03 I woulda said "OVA"

    This aint brawl ma du

  • Great match.

  • Silent Spectre is such a champ
