@jefer2405 I dont make plans , I just invent new shapes and have fun .You can access my catalogs and print out a photo . Its 1/4 an inch but has a lot sanded off . I had a friend send me a plastic one thin and less than half my size .Experiment and have fun . You probably know but if it hits your finger by missing the hole it can shoot out and hit you in the face .RULE of THUMB catch above or below your head level ONLY .

@jefer2405 My catalog pics are in the video description the hole is 2 inces so scale it up .The wings need a slight bow /positive dihedral .It might work flat try and see .It takes a hard throw and at the right spot .Practice and learn good luck .I'd measure the wing but I'm not home .It might be in my catalog description .

@IxXPaLmErXxI More than90% of the boomerangs sold dont fly well . Thats not my opinion but the opinion of all books and websites on the subject . Well made hand crafted boomerangs are very rare. The mass produced ones far out number the good ones . The next step is to have good directions to teach you and the skills to throw it . If you dont throw it 2 oclock to the right of the wind (if right handed ) it wount land close easily .

@USAconstitut1on The boomerang is at the very end of its flight ,its kentic energy spin rate is about to end as it hovers down .If a person misses the hole his finger will be struck by the wings . It will be only a slight sting at the worst (usualy it wont sting) . I'm an artist and my livelyhood is depedant on on my fingers working well just as a pianist . If there was serious risk to breaking a finger on that I wouldnt do it .

Two bladed/ winged type are more difficult to throw than 3 bladed . 4 winged are even easier . Many store bought ones are poorly made . In other words it may not be you .How long have you been throwing and what brand do you have ?

Its kind of dangerous because those three wings are like blades and could cut someone!

@DavidDMAN22 Its designed to look dangerous and threatning , it is a mix between Blades vampire killing device and a batarang . The points curve back so they can never impale you . The wood is 1/4 thick so it cant break skin . All boomerangs can sting you though . You certainly dont want to get hit in the face though , so simply catch off to the side . I make it look easy becasue I'm experienced a newbie would have to take it slow and have its moves memorised before he runs under it .

@Nabo00o boomerang wings have airfoils , when spining it creates lift the lift is unequal wings in front have more speed than the back wings (because of the spin speed + the throw speed) .Gyroscopic percesion is the reason.Look up why boomerangs return to learn more .
