I don't define these bosses like most people. Rather, I consider it that this theme is for Smithy goons, and the other boss theme for random bosses. Seems to be how it works. Anybody with ties to Smithy has this theme, if you pay attention closely.

@PSISpecter Because Smithy's goons are weapons, or use them. Mack isn't THE sword, he's the red, bandana-like think jumping on top of the sword. Hence Armed Boss. Although, Johhny has his trident, and Crocco and Punchinello use bombs...

@saw4650 Honestly, I always felt Culex was tougher than Smithy. Use attacks that take out everyone as much as you can. The crystals do almost all of the damage, not Culex themselves.

If you have Rock Candy or Red Essence I'd use those too.
