They said it wasn't and I didn't really find it to be a big deal so I kept it. Still runs great, but it's not better than the 4870 I'm still using.

@TheAuchamp1 400watt psu.. Probably not, but you'll have the cables to go ahead and try it out. Worst case scenario is that you'll need a little stronger power supply.

@H3Av3N2233 I've only talked to EVGA tech support once over the phone once I believe, and they were very nice and helpful people. CUDA and PhysX are aspects of the card's hardware and software.

@DeityOfRS It's actually a little worse in performance from what I've read (seen a ton of benchmarks and what not) The GTS 250 is a rebranded 9800GTX, (NOT +) definitely not worth an upgrade if you have at least a 9800gt. It's about the same exact size of the remodeled (smaller) 9800GTX+ and I suppose an inch smaller than my 4870 and the old 9800GTX+ cards.

Ask Megotrice or Skumpcake about XFX's absolutely stellar customer support. Extravagant packaging doesn't mean a damn thing if they don't honor their warranties. EVGA is the only company I can think of that actually supports you overclocking their cards to literal death. XFX on the other hand.. "Ticket closed." lol

As for me, I'm not too biased between the two. I have cards from both brands and they both work fine. As for pricing, just about exactly the same on Newegg or Amazon.

Yes, and I've talked to their customer support over the phone, very nice and quick to help. I've only dealt with XFX through emails, and they weren't an issue for me. Though, I'll always purchase an EVGA card first before thinking about another brand. (As long as I live in the US)

I'm not sure, but a Rosewill 530w powered a 4870 easily and that's way more stronger and wattage hungry. I took my 4870 back from my dad and he uses my GTS250 now on that same 530w.

Check the amps, how much wattage is dedicated for the 12v rail and how much each GTS 250 needs. All three cards won't use as much power as you think, and they really don't ask much to begin with, so assuming you have a quality power supply from Corsair, PC Power&Cooling, ULTRA, or even Rosewill.. I think you should have enough for all three. If you were to say like a GTX260 or Radeon 4870, I'd say definitely not. But I think you're good with 250's.

I would think so, at that resolution. It's when you try to use higher resolutions, that these lower end cards start to be really lacking, even in SLI.

Oh yea, that's a pretty nice setup. You'll definitely be able to PLAY every game. You won't be maxing Crysis or Far Cry 2 at 1680x1050 and higher, but it'll definitely play great.

I'm not knowledgeable enough to tell you precisely how it all works, but the data goes all throughout the main components, the CPU, GPU, RAM, and your HDDs. They all work together to show you what you're looking at right now. Though if you really want to read into it, google up "How video cards work" and click on the first link.
