i want the bikilas so bad but i think its pretty dumb how they only have sizes 10 and up. i wear 39 so are they trying to say that people with small feet cant wear them???
@911truck It is weird how they did that. A co worker of mine had to get the womens five fingers (black kso's) cause his feet were too small for the mens sizes, but it worked out fine and they look identical to the mens. maybe you should consider getting the womens green and grey bikilas, i think that color looks kinda cool and it works for guys too.
@911truck I too according to the Vibram sizing chart wear a 39. I bought the KSO's in black and they fit great. Decided to take a chance on the Bikilas in a size 40 based on what I had read. Got them yesterday and they are a perfect fit. Snug but not too snug. They actually fit slightly better than my KSO's. Hope this info helps.

I just bought a pair of Bikilas online at CitySports. I wear a size 13 in regular shoes, and i ordered a size 45 bikilas. I did the ruler measurement and my foot measured 11 1/4 ". I was wondering if my feet will still fit in the 45's (11 1/2").
How the hell did you get them on so easy? I'm interested in getting a pair, but when I tried them on at MEC, I couldn't get the bloody things on, because my toes wouldn't line up properly. They look good, though.
@StaceyC123 they come on easier with time, I had been wearing VFF's for awhile before posting this video. Also (i don't know if you did this or not) but rather than lift the shoes in the air to put them on, leave them flat on the floor and let your toes finagle themselves into each toe pocket, kinda like caterpillars.
im in the military stationed at 29 palms in the desert and was wondering if these new bikilas would do well in the rocky terrain out here. i cant go running out here with my kso, or my sprints.
@timmyjones1115 I'm sure the bikilas would do fine, however I think the best tool for the job would be the treks, they have a more aggressive tread, and the leather uppers are more durable.
@timmyjones1115 When I was in 29 I loved my Treks. The more aggressive tread really helped. You'll still fill it when you hit a rock, but it's not as bad.
@tammybeaver39 I had a similar experience, developed chronic achilles tendonitis in both heels. The problem was not heel-striking, the problem was I attempted to run without using the heel at all. This creates tremendous stress on the achilles...the answer is that there has to be at least a 'heel-touch'! I was trying to do my long distnace running with the same foot placement I use when running the 100 metre, all forefoot...not good.
Today I run again with the Vibrams! No problems at all..
I updated the description of this video with a quick review. To answer your question on weight, i'm sure the Bikilas would be a few grams heavier if i weighed them, but my feet really couldn't tell the difference.
