OK, but that does not answer my question. 1. where is your evidence? and how about this: 2. were you this upset when Bush was illegally and unconstitutionally appointed President in 2000? that was a far greater threat to democracy and our system of government than this issue. But somehow I imagine that that far greater grievance perpetrated by a rich white Republican and his cronies doesn't bother you half as much as black Obama's COLB issue. A COLB is not a birth certificate it is certification of live birth, neither hospital that obama says he was born at have any record of it, the records clerk from hawaii claims there is no birth certificate, I just want to see this issue addressed fully, instead of being dismissed, he could have easily solved this debate from the very beginning, why are all of his records, and I mean ALL of them, off limits, why if there is nothing to hide, didn't he run on transparency, well, where is his?

It *IS* a birth certificate. How do you know that "neither hospital that Obama says he was born at have any record of it"?? Obama has only claimed Kapiolani hospital. Hospitals are bound by privacy laws. See also: Health Information Privacy Act.
Tim Adams (elections clerk) said "he was told" there is no long form. He never identified who told him and no one has corroborated his story. His records are protected by privacy laws like yours and mine are.

Also.. Tim Adams said he worked on voter registration. Obama was not registered to vote in Hawaii in 2008, he was registered in Illinois.

Birth certificates vary from state to state as far as what they look like and what info appears in them.
I know Hawaii issued long form way back when. As of 2001 when all their vital records were converted to electronis form, the COLB became their standard issue birth certificate.

Its not necessary because the COLB *IS* a valid, legal, State Certified birth certificate.
Congress verified his eligibility when they certified the electoral vote. The SCOTUS did also when Chief Justice Roberts swore him in.
You're arguing this with the wrong person. I have a COLB. That *IS* my birth certificate. It has never been rejected nor have I ever been required to produce any supplemental info because of it. It proves my birth place and citizenship.

Obama was born in Hawaii on US soil. That make him a citizen at birth via jus soli.
His mother was an American citizen. That also makes him a citizen at birth via jus sanguinis.
There is no reason that a person born with dual citizenship cannot be a natural born citizen of one country or the other.
Barack Sr's citizenship means jack as far as his sons natural born American citizenship goes.

And even when evidence is provided, they make up another claim (with no evidence to back it up again) and yet again ask others to refute it. Obama could end world hunger, find the cure for all cancers, and walk on water or raise the dead, and still those who hate him, (namely, the GOP), would still demonize him and attack him relentlessly. If these attitudes don't validate my belief that the hatred of Obama is fueled by racism, I don't know what will. No other President in U.S. history has faced such a degree of hateful, vitriolic opposition. I happen to love the guy, because he's doing great.

@OregonDARRYL I'm not so sure. I remember how the GOP opposed Clinton back in the early and mid 90's, but that was nothing compared to the way in which in which they've treated Obama. There's really no comparison. I keep thinking that If Obama were blonde with blue eyes and a western last name there would be opposition for sure, but not the prejudiced personal attacks that we've seen during the past two years. There's a demographic change going on, and I don't think these people like it much.

A member of my crew on board the USS Okinawa was sexually assaulted by a gay man who had lied on his application back in the 80s. This was always the rationale for keeping gays out of the military. The military has the stats on the thousands of sexual assaults that have occurred. Now the sexual assaults will get worse, and the blood supply will become contaminated with AIDS.
