  • they were wearing Nike uniforms...

  • Thats the dude from Charles in charge isnt it???

  • WHO SAMPLED THIS???? WHAT WAS THE NAME OF THE SONG

  • I was just watching this movie, if you watch it, please pay attention to the baseball game. The other teams "MVP" is supposed to be the leagues best hitter and pitcher. Whoever did the casting for this movie should hang themselves. I have NEVER seen a less athletic person in my life. First of all, I think he really is mentally retarded, not joking, for real. Watch his swing when he bats, and watch his pitching when he is on the mound!!! What a joke, you can cast somebody, anybody better

  • hey that was a backward Millennium Falcon with star trek warp nacelle hahaha

  • I liked the end of zapped when scott baio flew

  • when i was a kid, this part made me buy neon tetras for my fish tank LOL

  • This is THE best scene in the movie

  • Yah, it really is.

Although 'Hep me mista Einstein!' comes in a close 2nd. Something about Scatman Crothers being attacked by a salami cannon always makes me laugh.

  • @Fretslayer Me,too. It's my favorite scene from the movie.

  • The important thing was that Scott Baio didn't take anything seriously with any role he was offered in. He just did what he enjoyed and that was the end of it. If he played corny, silly, funny, comic, serious, etc, it didn't matter to him. It was just pure fun. He's the only actor that doesn't take his acting craft seriously. All the movie and television characters roles he does is just being himself all the time.

  • BLASPHEMY!

Surely this is the greatest dramatic role ever played!

    Oh, wait...Maybe not.

    :D

  • Oh my God! This movie was so funny, but the funniest part is when he made the dummy talk and attack his mom so she was scared and thought he was possessed! LOL!!!

  • I forgot to mention how awesome their uniforms looked.

    xD

  • Yes, Captain, the computer indicates that we're about to be swallowed by a giant sheepdog.

  • were can i find this movie? i wanna see this on youtube!

  • Uh, I'm going to take a guess and say '...your local video rental store.' LOL!

  • Best parody of spock on record.

  • love this movie!

  • OK mister "I haver the original movie so there HAH" i was trying to find the ending theme song of this movie i remember in the credits they call themselves "plainjane" tell me 9if you could put it up thanks and correct me if i was wrong lol

  • I wonder if that 'Plain Jane' is the pre-Warrant Jani Lane band.

  • OK u got my attention who's Jani lane band

  • dude you were so right about warrant first name but no its still plain jane come on wheres the ending clip with the credits hmmm

  • When Scott and Willie met on the set of Zapped!, they right away became great friends. Scott Baio said that Willie could crack anybody up and you will still enjoy his company. Willie said that he entertained Scott, took him to the Playboy mansion, joke around with each other, etc. They were good friends. It wasn't until they sense they had different paths and Willie could have sense the distance between Scott. With Willie Aames finding religion and Scott being Scott, they ended their friendship.

  • WILLIE TOOK THE PATH of drugs....but now he changes.

  • That he did. It ended his first marriage with Victoria Weatherman due to his heavy drug addiction. He has a child from that previous marriage. I think Willie was 19 when he married Victoria. But he did meet Maylo McCaslin, who was a devout Christian, and really helped Aames throughout his life. So all is well for Willie. They officially are married and they already have a child.

  • i think this video is so cool and i hope to see it again

  • I love that part. The ironic part is the baby picture you see in the movie scene of that infamous "Carrie" vomiting rip-off. That is actually really Scott Baio as a baby in that picture.

  • dew tell

  • Do you also have the scene where Scott Baio puked like the exorcist? That was soooo funny. And bad-ass.

  • It's about damn time this movie was put out on DVD! There's just one thing about the DVD that makes me scratch my head... The scene where Willie Aames and Heather Thomas are making out on the couch - the DVD version has the room illuminated and you can see them on the couch before the camera flash - the version that I have (where this came from) has that room in pitch black. The total blackness to FLASH to black IMO is much funnier than seeing the actual scene.

  • I love that scene when the paper says "Barney Bonehead" and Scott Baio says in his perfect Brooklyn tone, "Up yo's"...

  • Check out the Zapped! interview with Scott Baio. It is rather interesting. Even I was wrong on some assumptions.

  • Where is it?

  • Type Zapped! Scott Baio

  • oh...duh..thanks!

  • Correct. Correct.

  • its out today!

  • IF YOU CAN FIND IT!! I went to BEST BUY DVD all sold out ,seems to be a hot seller !!!

  • So is my place. It seems out, too. First come, first serve, as the saying. Sucks. I was so glad to get Charles In Charge Season 2 before my Barnes and Nobles store got them all out. Sold Out, including the Charles In C harge Season 1, which I was glad to have first of all.

  • I use to live in Los Angeles ,i did some research on Zapped! and was able to find out that the HIGH SCHOOL used in the movie is JOHN MARSHALL HIGH in hollywood, also used in pretty in pink ,and the first nightmare on ELM ST movie!!

  • That is right. And you are correct, sir. That was really an 80s historic landmark for 80s films. I read that Scott Baio didn't really care for the movie itself, but this was really his best. But judging from the movie, it seemed like he was enjoying the role he had as a nerd. That's the only time he played a nerd. Other roles were either disturbed individuals, romantic leads, or jocks. That's pretty much it. Interesting to note this is really the beginning of Baio and Aames' friendship.

  • and the baseball field used in Zapped ! was in GRIFFITH PARK , over by the LOS Angeles Zoo,and the record store that Barney and bernadette are in is out in the LA Valley in Encino ,i believe, or Sherman oaks on ventura blvd..and the amusement park used was MAGIC MOUNTIAN in LA ,(same park that doubled as Wally world in the movie''VACATION ''

  • My favorite Baio/Aames flick. I am surprise Scott Baio never pursued this type of geek role again. He actually did a good job with it, though.

  • I used to have this movie on VHS, and I want to get a copy of DVD, but man, you can't find it anywhere... what a rip!

  • Wario,it's coming out on DVD,finally,in February! You can pre order it for 10 bucks on Amazon.

  • What took it so long?

  • I don't know,MGM rereleased it on video in 98;I think this classic should've gotten A DVD release years ago!

  • hey openarms82, been looking for this flick for sooo long now. where can i get it. i'm from philippines

  • Can you put up the parts where the girls' clothes come off?

  • I could but what would be the point?

After all, somebody else has already done that.

  • "Barney Bonehead"...perhaps one of the best lines of all time. LOL those with a weird sense of humor will remember that part.

  • Up yo's!

  • Baio is now in a reality show. God, his voice is the same as it was in the past.

  • hi/bye.

  • Hmmmm. ironically, the ship model bares a striking resembles to the NX-01 Enterprise.

  • I'm glad I'm not the only one who's noticed that. I guess the ppl over at the Trek Plant have run out of original ideas. Every time I'd see a commercial for that 'Enterprise' show, I'd laugh about it because this scene would always flash through my mind.

  • It's the Millenium Falcon with the Enterprise-A nacelles and pylons attached it.

  • Really? No way! You're kidding, right? - LOL! Yah, I think everybody knows that already. In fact if you go to some websites where you can download Star Wars and Star Trek cg meshes (what y'all'd call a model) then you can do as I have and make your own CG version of the ship in this fine scene. Happy Rendering!

  • Hey! When did Starfleet sell out to Nike???

  • NERDS! NERDS! NERDS!

  • It is a shame that this movie isn't available on dvd. Then again, rumor has it that if one were to find the film on a p2p network they might be able to burn a dvd of it. It's just a rumor but...Oooh! Salami! :D

  • I always loved this scene. I really wish they had this film on DVD.
