18 = just put LP+MP+HP on the square button..jump (after getting in the air, hold down) and press it like 2-3 times and when E. Honda gets on the floor press the MK and square like 2-3 times again...it will be done with no problem at all ._.

helpful tip on trial 24 for people who can't do the light punch into hundred hand slap like the video. Set turbo on (if you got arcade stick TE ) Light punch and heavy punch. once you do so. start the trial, press M punch first, after second hit of medium punch, hold light punch button but the quickly hold heavy and pull off super. you got trial 24 done. be sure to not do hundred hand light, make sure after light punch hits, then hold heavy
You peeps having trouble with 18 I did it in about 1 go I did a jump spaming the 3 punch button then went into a crouch kick and kept spamming the EX punch and it came on instantly. So just utilize jump and come in with a Jump punch using the 3 punch button and keep spamming it just stopping to do your crouch kick and it will give you the presses you need to do an instant Hundred slap after the kick.
Set (L1 as mk), (R1 as lp), (O as hp), & (X as lp+mp+hp).
Now to do the combo, just (c.mk by pressing c.L1+R1) and then slide your thumb from O to X counter clockwise.
So the input should be: (L1+R1, O, ∆, [ ], X)
As you can see, you have to input 5 punch buttons one after another to get the Hundred Hand Slap to come out. So by pressing L1+R1, you are pressing mk & lp at the same time. The X at the end of the input is the EX part. Hope this helps.
@drakeTM1 nope, it's actually easier, on the touch screen, there are shortcut buttons for sumo headbutt, super combo, ultra combo, and hundred hand slap, you can actually change these buttons into different things... I would know, I have the 3DS version, and there's millions of cheapass players in the Internet Matches
@benomarbaomar1 To do a Heavy Punch Hundred Hand Slap on a ps3 pad, set either L1,L2 or R1,R2 to lp,mp. Then use the piano method - L2,L1,L2,L1,hp. It's pretty easy after a few practices. Good luck to all the pad players!
@killacodered Bro, I just did 23, it's quite feasible. U just need to be fucking fast as fucking lighting with the pianoing. After that, just wait till the slaps are done and press HK at the right time. Go to Vesperaracde for the pianoing lessons. It's in one of those tutorials
Have a tip for Trial 18. Enable turbo on all 3 punch, LP, MP and HP then hold down all 3 buttons. Honda will be spamming EX hundred hand slap if you're doing it right, all you have to do is get as close as possible and mash at down and MK. Eventually you'll get one of the kick to connect and the EX hundred hand slap should follow immediatly if you're still holding down the 3 punch buttons
I saw the tutorials. They are nice, actually the guy is interesting player. This current video doesn't show anything, tho. I can't get Honda's last trial and I saw how he done it on joystick. Pressing 4 times lp and the the fourth time was timed perfectly so it would connect, but the pace was good enough so the 5 hands would turn into HHS and end up for ultra. Interesting...

I mean, I just had that crazy idea about those trials and I did em all in 4-5 hours without help, but ended up on the last trial with Honda(Everything else is clear). I'm playing on pad. Tutorials usually are for sticks. I haven't played on stick seriously from maybe 10 years. Most of the crap is easier on stick, because with it you don't get false commands so often. However, I don't plan to buy stick. Btw, can't see what you're doing in the end with to get hhs

@Squall1st Wow. You obviously don't know how much they put into helping the community, and teaching people how to play this game. This video has 30,000 views, and you expect him to answer every single question from every single character trial, AND answer all the questions in his 11 chapter tutorial? Plus the MVC3 challenges he did? Wow, there are numerous videos showing all the titles, it's far from showing off, they aren't hard to get at all it's so people can see what ones they're missing.
Totally impossible to learn this moves! Because on some moves you have to "think" in advance (like the sumo-headbutt which needs some time to load up!) and in this movie I can´t see the any "uploading" of any move! And this is too fast to see ANY movement of the joypad (and to make it even harder it´s another one than the regular controller!).

Another note on that. That trick actually works on any move. Say you want to do a regular hadouken. You can hold hard punch. Then do a half circle toward the opponent, and then release hard punch. This made some of these trials ten times easier after I discovered this.
I figured out a trick a little while ago that I don't know if anyone has posted, and I'm not gonna read through 119 comments. For all the people having a really tough time pulling stuff off. You can actually charge the button used for a move and release after you input the movement. Which I noticed VA doesn't take advantage of. So like trial 15 where you jump hard kick and then hard punch super move. You can hold hard punch after you press it, and release after input for super. Try it out.
I'm embarassed that I needed to check a video on how to do trial 16, especially considering I've done 95% of the trials already without aid, I just didn't think you had to land the heavy, I was trying the light from underneath.
I'm glad you showed us the stick. It was helpful! When doing trial 23, I noticed you just pressed LP (blue) to HP (yellow), without doing anything else (i.e. 2 taps of the buttons), meaning you adjusted the controls to have LP and HP next to each other, and also put turbo mode on for HP (otherwise I'd see your fingers tapping or piano-ing). Well, if a guy like you needs turbo mode, then forget this... I'm putting it on too!
@Virtutus He is pianoing, its just really clean. He hits exactly the five quick inputs he needs to activate the HHS. Its actually that fast when you do it well o_o.
@venomousleif probably, i given up on this game long ago man, hell even mk vs dcs challenges are easier to pull off than this shit (few days ago i did all raidens challenges on it, its hard as hell but 100 x more easy than ssf4 trials)
Trial 11 is impossible on a ps3 controller. Hell, I can string Blanka's moves together and plink them fine with the ps3 controller, but E Honda just doesn't seem to want to work at all. I tried the d pad and the analog and I did the directions smooth, and the sumo headbutt doesn't come out at all. I even tried inputting the commands back forward while in the middle of my jumping heavy punch... I've tried everything. The move doesn't want to work, so I guess I have to buy the lame arcade pad.
I cleared E. Honda trial with xbox 360 controller ( analog).
Tip on 21:
Practice with this method. Charge DB, press C.LP then hold C.LP and do super motion( really FAST) at same time then let C.LP go after you are done with super motion. It does super move right after C.LP.
:: if you do this method and it does not work, then it means you are slow with super motion or try to practice with sumo headbutt to get an idea then try super ::

The tricks with this kind of command seem impossible to do. Is it like: back, forward, back, forward, punch? I hope someone can explain how to do it.
@Bramsan What you want to do first is hold back ( or down/back) on your joystick for at least two seconds, this charges the move, next you wanna press forward, back, forward, and all three punches. You gotta do all of this pretty quick. Hope this helps!
done all trials aart from 22 is there an easy technique to conect lp to super after the combo because lp to super is easy as 2links but put i cant seem to pull of the entire combo. Do i use fierce,medium or light super PLEASE HELP lol
@BennyHarassi I'm using the pad too and I just did 24. What I was, after the Stand M I hit the low punch three times then the HP twice so I could get the Hundred Hand. Once you get that down, just apply the charge to the whole thing for the super at the end
@venomousleif Yeah I did the Street Fighter 4 trials on controller but upgraded to a fightstick on Super and I've only done about 95% of them. Still struggling with a couple, just getting comfortable with the stick.
I know obviously my experience is different to many other people but living in England, and almost having no arcade scene at all I had no choice but to play on the pad for all these years, I guess I could have stuck with it but the stick feels so much better, even if I am 10x worse.
@realityboy13 the only thing hard about 21 is the timing of the cr.LP's you can't mash it out it has this certain beat so keep in mind the timing/beat (the beat is like 1/4 of a second per press so you do 4 LP's in a second) on how vesper presses the buttons and do the same on the controller

@Dicemann123 I just finished it. What I did was press back and Med punch to start charge and initiate combo. Just as he finishes second hit with med punch, crouch and LP X2 then swith to HP quickly and press it three times. To get the super off you have to hit around the second hit of HHslap. The button mapping I had was LP on square and HP on L1 . I used thumb for square and index finger for L1. Keep practicing and you will get it!
@LOLLOL13ful look at the hands of vesper since you already pressed 2 punches the standing M punch and crouching L, you only need to press the H punch three more times in order for the hundred hand slap to come out. So after doing the crouching L punch quickly press H punch three times or you could cascade your fingers from LP MP HP which would also result in a HP hundred hand slap.
you guys are doing alot of unnecessary things before the moves that might confuse some people. If you are going to do the trials do the fucking trials, no need for anything extra
@WailingBubbles you meant the first few ones where he fakes the stomp then does the headbutt/grab/butt slam? That's not to annoy people but to show them that IT IS POSSIBLE to pull that certain move from it (that stomp) and those things are VERY USEFUL. If you use it at a match it will confuse the opponent. Many times have the opponent waited when I baited the stomp and they ate a grab.
It was nice for vesper to show you people techniques that the game will not teach you.
@WailingBubbles What is confusing about the first 10-15 trials? Those are all their specials moves and ultras, if people get confused because in Vespers video he shows that you can cancel the stomp into specials, then they need help that this video alone cannot provide considering those were the basic specials.....
@DaMania510xyz just remember to immediately hold downback when you jump, doing crouching moves even when not doing anything. Basically charge downback whenever possible.

man its really a kick in the face to see someone do all these combos so easily with a arcade pad and my hands getting blisters (not exagerated, i actually do) from retrying and retrying and retrying and failing to do them on a controller.
Im so stuck on 18, i even have the 3p on triangle so i can tap it faster but it just wont go after the crouch m kick, the hell man... this is rediculous BAH.
@Calamaistr The way I did it on my controller was I jumped before the C.mk and tapped PPP 5 times before landing. The sixth punch input designates what strength Hundred Hand Slap comes out, so as you land just tap C.mk > PPP and it should work. (Might be the 5th or 6th punch input, I can't remember. Just test it.)
This REALLY helped me a lot. It seems that my problem was my rhythm. I just followed the rhythm used here and I was able to get it after a few tries. Thanks a bunch for these videos.
i have a question regarding controllers ummm ive never play SF with an arcade stick NEVER i know how do i sleep? its crazy and ive had to deal with the dreaded xbox controller do you think gettin through trials would be comfortably easier if i used one? just thought i need an input from a pro :P
Trial 19 is easily the hardest one. Idk why ppl are in a fuss for 21 if they are using an arcade stick--- just turn on the turbo and you'll get it right away. 19 you can't turbo and you can't mash. I can usually get it to 2 light punches, but the third never happens.

@ramiroryu I get literally 1000 questions on how to do these combos, also many people in the comments explain how to do them as well. Since i work a 40 hour job I don't have time to sit down and repeat myself. Editing in slow motion will not help you complete the combos either, It would take me hours to edit 24x36 different combos or I could just make tutorials that will help everyone learn and perform the combos all at once. I am not the only person in the world who can do these, Be patient.
@ramiroryu what's so hard about it ? lol you just have to time the hits right and just before you hit the last one insert the super as fast as you can .. nothing hard - absolutely nothing .. 24 will be hard for you .. i doubt you can do a piano
been trying trial 21 for hours so far and I'm having trouble getting the super out after the crouch l.punch. I'm able to get it down every once in a while, but it never comes out when I want to. I'm doing this with a ps3 controller btw. Any tips on how the analog should be moved? the problem is mainly the transition between holding the stick diagonally down to the right-left-right- movement. any help would be appreciated!
hmm, no. Just click on one of his random other trial videos (eg: Sagat) and look at the tags. At least in Sagat's it has Edmonton, and Alberta listed as tags. (The city/province I live in also.)

@Anfmethodjor there is a piano technique thing where you first hit LP then cascade your fingers HP MP LP then finally hit HP (total of 5 punches) do that very fast and you can consistently do hundred hand slaps that come out very quick

@Squall1st Wow. You obviously don't know how much they put into helping the community, and teaching people how to play this game. This video has 30,000 views, and you expect him to answer every single question from every single character trial, AND answer all the questions in his 11 chapter tutorial? Plus the MVC3 challenges he did? Wow, there are numerous videos showing all the titles, it's far from showing off, they aren't hard to get at all it's so people can see what ones they're missing.

Totally impossible to learn this moves! Because on some moves you have to "think" in advance (like the sumo-headbutt which needs some time to load up!) and in this movie I can´t see the any "uploading" of any move! And this is too fast to see ANY movement of the joypad (and to make it even harder it´s another one than the regular controller!).

Another note on that. That trick actually works on any move. Say you want to do a regular hadouken. You can hold hard punch. Then do a half circle toward the opponent, and then release hard punch. This made some of these trials ten times easier after I discovered this.

I figured out a trick a little while ago that I don't know if anyone has posted, and I'm not gonna read through 119 comments. For all the people having a really tough time pulling stuff off. You can actually charge the button used for a move and release after you input the movement. Which I noticed VA doesn't take advantage of. So like trial 15 where you jump hard kick and then hard punch super move. You can hold hard punch after you press it, and release after input for super. Try it out.

I'm embarassed that I needed to check a video on how to do trial 16, especially considering I've done 95% of the trials already without aid, I just didn't think you had to land the heavy, I was trying the light from underneath.

E.Honda trial 18 easy for PS3 Dualshock 3/Sixaxis pad..... I switched my buttons around, L1 for MK and R1 for PPP. Trusts me it works :)

I'm glad you showed us the stick. It was helpful! When doing trial 23, I noticed you just pressed LP (blue) to HP (yellow), without doing anything else (i.e. 2 taps of the buttons), meaning you adjusted the controls to have LP and HP next to each other, and also put turbo mode on for HP (otherwise I'd see your fingers tapping or piano-ing). Well, if a guy like you needs turbo mode, then forget this... I'm putting it on too!

@Virtutus He is pianoing, its just really clean. He hits exactly the five quick inputs he needs to activate the HHS. Its actually that fast when you do it well o_o.

Trial 11 is impossible on a ps3 controller. Hell, I can string Blanka's moves together and plink them fine with the ps3 controller, but E Honda just doesn't seem to want to work at all. I tried the d pad and the analog and I did the directions smooth, and the sumo headbutt doesn't come out at all. I even tried inputting the commands back forward while in the middle of my jumping heavy punch... I've tried everything. The move doesn't want to work, so I guess I have to buy the lame arcade pad.

I am not sure how did you do with jump High Punch, but you need to hit lower to get enough charge time to do sumo headbutt.
If you don't get it then i show you a method.
Jump then immediately hold BACK -> hit HP ( try to hit low as much as you can ) -> S. MK -> Heavy Sumo Headbutt.
Trial should be easy. Don't buy arcade stick unless you are rich or want to be SF pro.
I cleared all trials with xbox 360 analog controller ^.^

Tip on 24:
I changed my xbox 360 controller setting.
Set HP on Button A.
Easy Method but it needs practice and luck.
Jump + MP, Stand MP, LP, HP, HP ( you have to mash HP quickly after LP and it requires LUCK ) , SUPER Killer Head Ram
Again, I am not sure about PS3 controller. GOOD LUCK !!!

I cleared E. Honda trial with xbox 360 controller ( analog).
Tip on 21:
Practice with this method. Charge DB, press C.LP then hold C.LP and do super motion( really FAST) at same time then let C.LP go after you are done with super motion. It does super move right after C.LP.
:: if you do this method and it does not work, then it means you are slow with super motion or try to practice with sumo headbutt to get an idea then try super ::
I am not sure about PS3 controller. Good Luck !!!

Respect for completing all those trials Vesper. But can someone tell me how to do the Killer Head Ram (super and ultra combo)? I just cant figure out how to do it, and it really frustrates me! :)
The tricks with this kind of command seem impossible to do. Is it like: back, forward, back, forward, punch? I hope someone can explain how to do it.

@Bramsan What you want to do first is hold back ( or down/back) on your joystick for at least two seconds, this charges the move, next you wanna press forward, back, forward, and all three punches. You gotta do all of this pretty quick. Hope this helps!

done all trials aart from 22 is there an easy technique to conect lp to super after the combo because lp to super is easy as 2links but put i cant seem to pull of the entire combo. Do i use fierce,medium or light super PLEASE HELP lol

@BennyHarassi I'm using the pad too and I just did 24. What I was, after the Stand M I hit the low punch three times then the HP twice so I could get the Hundred Hand. Once you get that down, just apply the charge to the whole thing for the super at the end

@venomousleif Yeah I did the Street Fighter 4 trials on controller but upgraded to a fightstick on Super and I've only done about 95% of them. Still struggling with a couple, just getting comfortable with the stick.
I know obviously my experience is different to many other people but living in England, and almost having no arcade scene at all I had no choice but to play on the pad for all these years, I guess I could have stuck with it but the stick feels so much better, even if I am 10x worse.

@realityboy13 the only thing hard about 21 is the timing of the cr.LP's you can't mash it out it has this certain beat so keep in mind the timing/beat (the beat is like 1/4 of a second per press so you do 4 LP's in a second) on how vesper presses the buttons and do the same on the controller

@Dicemann123 I just finished it. What I did was press back and Med punch to start charge and initiate combo. Just as he finishes second hit with med punch, crouch and LP X2 then swith to HP quickly and press it three times. To get the super off you have to hit around the second hit of HHslap. The button mapping I had was LP on square and HP on L1 . I used thumb for square and index finger for L1. Keep practicing and you will get it!

@LOLLOL13ful look at the hands of vesper since you already pressed 2 punches the standing M punch and crouching L, you only need to press the H punch three more times in order for the hundred hand slap to come out. So after doing the crouching L punch quickly press H punch three times or you could cascade your fingers from LP MP HP which would also result in a HP hundred hand slap.

@WailingBubbles you meant the first few ones where he fakes the stomp then does the headbutt/grab/butt slam? That's not to annoy people but to show them that IT IS POSSIBLE to pull that certain move from it (that stomp) and those things are VERY USEFUL. If you use it at a match it will confuse the opponent. Many times have the opponent waited when I baited the stomp and they ate a grab.
It was nice for vesper to show you people techniques that the game will not teach you.

Those are all their specials moves and ultras, if people get confused because in Vespers video he shows that you can cancel the stomp into specials, then they need help that this video alone cannot provide considering those were the basic specials.....

man its really a kick in the face to see someone do all these combos so easily with a arcade pad and my hands getting blisters (not exagerated, i actually do) from retrying and retrying and retrying and failing to do them on a controller.
Im so stuck on 18, i even have the 3p on triangle so i can tap it faster but it just wont go after the crouch m kick, the hell man... this is rediculous BAH.

@Calamaistr The way I did it on my controller was I jumped before the C.mk and tapped PPP 5 times before landing. The sixth punch input designates what strength Hundred Hand Slap comes out, so as you land just tap C.mk > PPP and it should work. (Might be the 5th or 6th punch input, I can't remember. Just test it.)

Trial 19 is easily the hardest one. Idk why ppl are in a fuss for 21 if they are using an arcade stick--- just turn on the turbo and you'll get it right away. 19 you can't turbo and you can't mash. I can usually get it to 2 light punches, but the third never happens.

@ramiroryu I get literally 1000 questions on how to do these combos, also many people in the comments explain how to do them as well. Since i work a 40 hour job I don't have time to sit down and repeat myself. Editing in slow motion will not help you complete the combos either, It would take me hours to edit 24x36 different combos or I could just make tutorials that will help everyone learn and perform the combos all at once. I am not the only person in the world who can do these, Be patient.

been trying trial 21 for hours so far and I'm having trouble getting the super out after the crouch l.punch. I'm able to get it down every once in a while, but it never comes out when I want to. I'm doing this with a ps3 controller btw. Any tips on how the analog should be moved? the problem is mainly the transition between holding the stick diagonally down to the right-left-right- movement. any help would be appreciated!

hmm, no. Just click on one of his random other trial videos (eg: Sagat) and look at the tags. At least in Sagat's it has Edmonton, and Alberta listed as tags. (The city/province I live in also.)

@Anfmethodjor there is a piano technique thing where you first hit LP then cascade your fingers HP MP LP then finally hit HP (total of 5 punches) do that very fast and you can consistently do hundred hand slaps that come out very quick
