I love this video and wish there was more like them. We watch this almost every week as part of our movie night.
I'd love to know the song names and the artists performing them. I've just spent about an hour trying to get the last song where someone shouts "oh, play that thing". Each time I think I have the right version, it isn't the one.
Thanks for the comment! The songs on the soundtrack are all from old 78's. I know the first song is Doin' the Uptown Lowdown by Joe Venuti & his Blue Six, but i'm not sure which ones I used for the other tunes- probably either Jelly Roll Morton, Bix Biederbecke, or Fletcher Henderson. I'll go through my collection and see if I can figure out which one that was and let you know.
It's little gems like this that keep me coming back to this site. I really enjoyed seeing these old movie slides (which you are very lucky to own). I really like the art nouveau/art deco illustrations on some of them.

I finally found it! The song you were asking about was Sugar Foot Stomp by King Olivers Creole Jazz Band.
