Courtesy and respect is the essence of Persian culture. But, there is a difference between past Perisan and Turkic periods of rule. People under the influence of Persian rulers have much better memories than those under Turkic rule. We have very few dark chapters, unlike our Turkish neighbours. Persian cultural contribution to the entire Middle East and beyond is not comparable to Turkish contributions, its much greater.

Just because you are uzbek is not a good excuse to ignore thousands year of history and culture of where you live. Please remember learning one's culture brings the community together. Besides, Uzbek and Tajiks have been living in harmony for centuries under same flag. Since you are from Bukhara, let me ask you if you can tell me the meaning and the root of meaning of Bukhara?

As far as your question about the meaning of the word Bukhara there are few versions. It is possibly that the name comes from Soghdian word "buharak" - "lucky place". It can also be that the name comes from Sanskrit "Vihara" - "monastery".

on the meaning, please remember that both Soghdian name Buharak and Vihara are driven from same Indo-European roots. However, the options are more. In other words, the word Bukhara has the same root as Persian words for Spring "Bahar", or common word "Bahar" = Citrus blossom.
