Most people who seriously practice karate do not expect a fight to go down looking anything like this. This is just practice. Or in this case incredibly casual practice. Come on when your doing a demo or making a video show some intensity! That's whats gonna make it work. Or at least make it look like it would work.

whan someone grabs you go strait for the eyes with a finger jab , whats the point of all the grabbing and twisting of the gi or grabbing the hands etc its so unreal! i promise you in real life it will not work.

dude kyoushin karate is probably the best karate, lyoto machida has a base in this discipline, and he wupped alot of ass.

@ak47ava I'm not arguing that point! what i'm pointing out about this is that it's not simple enough, because when you try that stuff for real it will not work it's far to indirect , kyoushin is good i agree but only in the karate world ! you need alot more than karate for the real world. and Machida is good but that is Mma it's a spor,t kick them in the balls or poke the eyes they soon go down for a time break.

YOU GUYS ARE WRONG!! Kyoukushin uses plebty of technics of other styles and different types of Karate. SO DON'T SAY IT ISN'T KYOKUSHIN cause it looks like wado ryou.. Some of technics do look like this because they are from Wado Ryou; And the most important - no matter what you do Wado Ryou, Kyoukushin etc - We ALL are a one Karate Family - Osu... :)

This Video does its job and slow motion is really perfect way to learn certain moves - Good job:)
