Deathwing lost the war during this quest. He had the Dragonqueen at his mercy; the death of Alexstraza would have been a crippling blow to the Flights and the mortal heroes. Instead, he chased after an insect. Monumentally stupid.

@thethreerings1054 It will take you a while to get to 85, then it will take you a LONG time to gear up enough to even think about joining a raid to down Deathwing. But before that you have to study fights, know your class, etc., etc. So even when you're level capped you won't be ready, and it's also not "really easy".

It's part of a very long chain quest set. I remember the quest before it was escorting a squad of alliance troops to the gates of Grim Batol, things take off from there :)
