Actually this video and the situation as a whole has been, at this point, largley discussed and exposed. Modern Egyptian society (and the majority of Arab-Muslim nations) makes it practically impossible for women to defend themselves in almost any mode of life. The problem of rampant sexual harassment in these countries isn't in any way a "new" development either, it's just finally getting more well deserved attention.
