@emygoku Well, if the monitor has an HDMI output on the back, you should be able to connect an HDMI cable from your monitor to your Xbox. Do note however that some older Xbox consoles do not have an HDMI slot.If your monitor does not have HDMI support but does have DVI support you can buy an HDMI to DVI connector, as that should work just as well. Officially, the only difference between DVI and HDMI is that HDMI carries audio. You will likely need to find a way to obtain sound as well.
i hope u see this comment and replie please i am useing samsung sync master p2250 does not have hdmi input so i use hdmi to dvi and games look pretty good but some kinda buzz or pixels ii dnt know i see other videos on youtube that use xbox360 on a pc monitor and it look so much better and the monitor is full hd it says is it buz im not useing a hdmi cable? or what please replie thanks a lot.
@NnikoBellic I have the EXACT same monitor as you. What you need is the Xbox 360 VGA Cable. You don't need HDMI because not better than DVI. They both are a digital signal and both are capable of carrying audio as well.
As for the VGA cable, although it is an analog signal, it still goes up to 1080p and looks fantastic on the P2250. I had my 360 hooked up with it and played until my 360 broke
You can buy the VGA Cable for $49.99 at retailers, but you need an audio source. PM me for details
so how did u manage to configure the sound, I want to play 360 on my T260 using an HDMI cable so I want to know if I should connect the Xbox to speakers separately
You need either a VGA or a HDMI to DVI which I prefer.
