@Kamilsimac it would do it. but i would go with the newer models. i upgraded my "blackbook" to 4 gb ram and a 60 gb ssd for the system. it works just fine and i have made benchmark tests with geekbench and got 3029 points out of it... so you would be good to go with it i guess... but there are better models out. or, you buy me a pro and get my black one ;)

I have this same macbook. it was run flawlessly for me! I got it 2nd hand and had no problems with it other then it didnt like snowleopard at first, but after the 10.6.2 update i have not had one problem even with 3rd party apps. It runs VERY fast and very well. It does not get all that hot ither. The graphics are great! It does play 720p HD! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a mac! I LOVE mine! wonderful computer! 2gigram works fine 4 would be nice!

i wouldn't say, as is said in the review, that you get 'VERY good sound' but they're great laptop speakers. they get pretty damned loud and i've yet to hear them distort even when pushed by some pretty heavy shit.

The amount of ram that can be used is not determine by the CPU, its determine by the OS. 32 Bit windows can only support 3 GBs. 64 Bit windows can support 4 GBs. (maybe a bit more) and The Mac OS could support 4 GBs, I think could still hold more like 32 GBs of RAM (clears throat... Mac Pro :)

Yes, it has the iSight which you can use in many programs and even chat on the web with. It is pretty standard for a webcam, 1.3 megapixel. Hope this helped =D

The macbook is for general purposes, and its awsome, ( i have one), the macbook pro is for video editing and REALLY harware intensive programs, a macbook is good for alot of stuff, if you are a gamer go with the pro, otherwise the macbook is an amazing choice

That feature is called Expos'e. Like say if you have a dozen programs open on screen at once hiding behind each other, you can use the feature to show all the programs at once to locate the program you want to use. It come with every mac. Hope that helps.

The lock is simple, you need to buy a kensington lock for that, its a twisty bolt that grips inside tht groove, you then secure the other end to anything sturdy :)

The macbook is amazing and worth every cent. Ideal 13" size for easy portability, easy to carry in your pack and yet more than powerful enough for everyday computing needs, photos, vids, chat, email, school stuff, web, youtube..., and some gaming, more rts or prg and some fps type gaming.

The sound is clear, but not great, very thin sounding. To get a fuller, better sound is to connect a pair of powered stereo speaker and it will sound great.

I love my black macbook.

Ok i'm not igeraldflixX but i have a mac air and a macbook. i would reommend the macbook. it's not really that thick and really pretty light. the air compromises way too much. u have to get a cd drive to play it. there is only one usb and no firewire. i think the macbook is a great product and recommend u buy it.
