  • Very admirable work and video.

    Bravo.

  • You are a good person. Keep it up. Pelicans are great birds.

  • nice! I like pelicans. good job. :D

  • That was a great thing to see.... I hope you keep it up and are somehow rewarded for your efforts...

  • good job man!! big ups for you!!

  • good job man!!!

  • You do a great job

  • Thank you for saving Terri

  • wow, good work man. It is lucky for the pelican's that you are around. I live on Vancouver Island and volunteer at a wildlife rescue place, and we had a brown pelican for 3 months, she was found very sick and almost dead in november last year. We nursed her back to health, and sent her back to California, were she was later released. What a cool bird! We grew to love her, she became kind of a local celebrity..... no pelicans up here. Keep up the good work, your awesome. j

  • Thank God for Kenny and others like him! I've seen dozens of Pelicans entangled in fish lines and carrying hooks in their bodies all along the piers off Miami Beach. It's disgusting that the folks responsible don't give a damn.

    Go Kenny!

  • Here is his contact information:

    Kenny Brown

    731 N. 5th St. Apt. 1

    Lantana, FL 33462

Or you can give him a call at 561/628-5363.

  • You can read more about him in an article that the Boca News did on him - do a google search for "Kenny Brown" pelican (include the quotes around kenny brown but not around pelican) and on the first page you'll see a bocaratonnews link - view the cached version, and that's the article

Kenny doesn't own a computer and works during the day to save as many birds as he finds out of the goodness of his heart. I sent him a donation to help his work.

  • Wow Nice work. If I wasnt going broke doing the same thing just different breed I would help. Spent $350 today on a neglected bird. :-(. The devistation humans leave behind is staggering.

  • You would never guess but we had a pelican living on the Tay by Broughty Ferry (dundee scotland)for nearly 2 weeks, they think it escaped from a wild life center on South coast of England about 2 months ago.
